New to Survey Police

Hi! I am an 18 year old young mother and college student and I would like to do surveys in my spare time for a little extra cash. I am already signed up with mysurvey and Global Test Market, and I'm almost ready to cash out with them. I also signed up with Tellwut yesterday at the suggestion of someone on this site and am almost ready to cash out with them as well. I have signed up with a few other sites, but have recieved nothing or very little with them. I'm being patient though :) . I was just wondering if anyone could give a newbie some suggestions for some sites and some advice on how to do all this. Any response is appreciated!

By the way, I love this site and I'm so glad I found it!

I know there are a few survey sites/paid communities that want moms. I have no idea what those sites are as I'm not a mom though. =D

I'd also recommend looking at sites like www.wahm.com as you may find other opportunities that pay you better for the time invested.

Welcome doobie to our community :D you'll find all kinds of help here. There is always someone who has had a problem  in the past to help others through it. :P

for me the best ones were Opinion Outpost and Surveyhead.. the best advice on those sites is not to wait for email invites as they send very few.. but go on the sites to see what surveys are available.. SH will have a list for you specifically, whereas OO you can keep clicking the 'take a survey' link and relevant surveys will show up as available. As for GTM, i'm sure you noticed if you dq from a survey, wait for their survey router to go through, as it may send you another one right then.. i don't bother with the occasional 'do this survey for 3 sweeps entries' ones.. for those i always accidentally enter my age with only one digit and it dq's me for some reason  , which still gives you a single entry..

another piece of advice is to do the GTM ones first as they pay more and seem to be affected by the general routers out there.. so if you do surveys for Toluna or myview etc.. which pay little to nothing in comparison, you're taking away the chance to do it on GTM which will pay you more.. if it sees you've done the survey already elsewhere it won't come through on GTM. So i'd leave Toluna and myview alone.

Hi doobie, I have a nice list, if you email me I will send it to you, too much to put here.

Please post your list here! If you want to start a new thread for it, that'd be awesome. This is EXACTLY the sort of information to share on this forum so there's no way it's "too much". :)

Wow, thanks for all the advice guys. I cashed out with GTM today, so I'm anticipating my very first check! I'm trying to avoid the sites where they want you to complete "offers" to get the rewards. I accidently signed up with one of those, and my email was bombarded with spam. I'm going to join Surveyhead next, I think. I like to read the FAQ's on a site before I sign up. Also, I wanted to ask, if a survey asks for my email, should I enter it? Most of the surveys that I have done didn't ask for it, but a couple did.

i don't get any garbage mail from the ones i posted so you can give an email..

also it takes about 4 weeks for the GTM checks to arrive

i tried legerweb but i never got anything from them so i deleted the bookmark.. not sure if they only go for canadians or not as they're based in canada..

and everyone here knows my hatred for valuedopinions.. but with your demographics maybe you'd do better.. $20 cashout though.. i did fair with them back in 09' but since coming back this january i've been stuck at $15 and can't get a single survey.

I'm at $19 on legerweb and live in texas. Valuedopinions have always been decent for me as I get an Amazon code instantly when I hit $20. Pureprofile is quite interesting also.

Danielle, I will look but I would need your email in order to invite you or anyone else. I don't think we're supposed to put it here so you can email me through the board. My email is open to receiving mail, and I would be happy to invite you to that or any of the others that require invites.
