SH denied issuing W99 form

Since its tax time, i asked SH for W99 which i can report to IRS. They said they will not be able to provide one to the members.

Not sure what's the reason behind it. I thought they would be more encouraging for members to report earnings to IRS.

I thought by law that they had to, but only if you made over $600 for that year.

Yes i did this year for the first time ever. They said they dont issue any tax certificates to any of its members.

Contact the IRS and ask what you should do. They should have a lot of fun with that.

Employers do not fill out and file your tax returns for you so just like with a full time job it is up to the individual to file your taxable earnings.

If they refuse to send the form (some employers do, some don't) then you just need to get it yourself. You can print one for free from here: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf
