danielle1234
just got a weird email from Amazon, stating I won a 90% off coupon because of their 20th anniversary, and that it would expire in 24 hours and must be used within 30 days. I know it is a scam because of the sender's email name "[email protected]". I think its a scam so I sent the email to Amazon.

1957horses
Get them all the time for my bank, paypal, amazon and pineconeresearch. They say that "unusual activity on my account and unless I log-in within 24-48 hours my account will be closed", and there always to :Dear Customer" and not to my name, that's another way to tell if they are phony. But now these phone people have started using my name, but I can still tell they are fake. Click on reply, and the return email gives it away lol. So I send these emails to who ever it for spoofing so that these companies can investigate and maybe shut them down......................
