Thank You peach and franksmom, I got out on Friday night. They wanted to keep me 3 more days for physical therapy but I refused. I have caring for 7 years now my almost 92 year old mom to care for, and her sister just passed away on 2 weeks ago and was 95. Today I am in soooo much pain. It's more in my right hip and feels like a nerve might be pinched. I can't get comfortable no matter how I try to sit/laydown. The pain in my back aches' after sitting up for no longer then 15 minutes and no hip pain, but when I have to lay back, my hip is just a steady pain that my Percocet 10 doesn't help 1 bit. I haven't slept yet and this just started happening yesterday around 5pm. I think I might have to go to emergency today if it doesn't stop................ Although I will never do it again, the pain was excruciating for over 40 days. And still it sometimes aches even now. But I can wear shoes now again, after 9 years wearing the same ones. 1957horses Posted November 21, 2015 Report Share Posted November 21, 2015 My second major operation this year is my lower back spine L3-L4-L5 where they fused with plates and screws was done on the 9th. I get the staples out on this Monday the 23rd. not as painful as I was scarred it was going to be. But the Dr. said it will takes months before I can walk pain free so I will continue to use my scooter........................................
