Please note, the intital survey you were invited to did not continue. The questions you navigated through were from the second survey that were provided; do to being disqualified from the previous one.

Please find your recent account activity below:

Second survey v4Cd995tqPFv09 2015-11-21 09:20 2015-11-21 09:20 2015-11-21 09:33 Completed

First survey vrjcNHKRSpJ6Qx 2015-11-21 08:57 2015-11-21 09:20 2015-11-21 09:20 Screen Out -

First take a look at the date ,then the time - do they really expect people to do a 33 minute survey for nothing? It did not say that NO points were going to be given if I continued .To me this is deceitful and this is why there should be some way for them to be accountable. So my suggestion for you if they ask you one question and you don't qualify exit out and DO NOT continue.I'm still fighting for my measly 500 points it's now stands for ethical treatment.

This was my email to them.

You asked me 1 question I did not qualify for that question then you preceded - if you look at the time it took to on the screened out portion to complete it took 23 minutes it should never take 23 minutes to be screened out from a survey. Then if you look at the completed part that was another 13 minutes. So in other words 36 minutes and then you have the gall to say I don't deserve any form of payment.I would like to see you work that long and then expect nothing in return.I want my points and I am not going away until I get them.Either that or let me talk to you supervisor.

I won and know I'm doing a happy dance - with is the reply they sent back to me

Max, Dec 4, 12:47 AM:

Hi

You are right, it shouldn't take that long to be screened out. We have a new researcher that is still becoming acclimated to our metrics. I will be more than happy to credit your account 1,500 points for any frustration this may have caused. These points should now reflect in your account total.

Happy Holidays,

Max

Yeah!!!!! Really happy for you but it kinda pisses me off that I did the rounds with "max" time and time again and he refused to be of any help, minus agreeing to add points and then not doing it.

I currently have 9,000 points at yougov. How many points do I need to cash out for an Amazon GC?

35,000 for a $15 agc which equals out to 7,000 surveys at 500 points per survey.Oh my freakin gosh ,how ridiculous does that sound ?Especially when you say it out loud.

I think you mean 70 surveys, which is still too many. I enjoy doing their surveys, but when they ask you if you want to answer a few more questions, you don't get any extra points though do you? I kind of assumed you did not, and so I never do the additional questions. You could spend lots of time on their website looking over all the poll results.

Yes 70 -sorry about the fuzzy math-guess I was dividing the 5 into 35,000 .But anyway - they say in the beginning that the survey is worth 500 -then on the first question I wasn't what they were looking for. However the survey preceded there was no way to decipher from the beginning to the end - how was I to know that I wasn't going to get any points if I went on.This is where I felt the deceit happened.I like taking the polls and reading them they do have a lot of interesting information.

I rarely get a dq from YouGov. I think I am around 80K on points. And I know I complain about it taking 2 years to cashout for a $100 AGC. BUT, there are others that I work 2 years on and I get a $25 AGC.

i like them. and I agree with you. there are many, many worse than them. I hardly if ever have any problems with them getting any thing worked out. knock on wood here!

Well it happened again did a 20 minute survey said it would pay 1500 points and at the end only gave 500 .I have noticed whenever any of us have a issue it starts with one ,then somehow works its way around to all of us.I mean I hope it doesn't happen to any of you but be warned, it may.I didn't fight them this time I should have copied and pasted the part that said I would be receiving 1500 points but I didn't.Knowing them they will argue about it.Next time I will take a screen shot before doing anything like that for them again. So if you get a invite saying 1500 points to be paid for a 20 minute survey do yourself a favor do a screen shot.

  • 2 weeks later...

I've been a member (of You Gov) since the Civil War & thought so highly of them, last June I gave them a 5-star rating (here on S.P.). When I read "Footfree"('s) post, I thought: "This person must be having a bad-hair day!" Well, guess what? I ended-up having the same problems everyone else has posted about. They sure went down hill at Mach 4! Starting with that same 1500 point survey. I, too, only received 500 points. I sent an email & never dreamed I'd have a problem--they've always fixed me right up; and I do have "Snapshots" that I always send with any email I send, when I don't receive credit. Well, this time, my email was ignored. By this time, I've got 35,500; they say I have 34,000, and I want my money for Christmas! Twice a week, I'd re-send an email--with "Snapshots" attached...and I'm STILL getting ignored. But each email I'm becoming more & more frustrated & start to add comments like: "It'd sure be nice to have my hard-earned money by Xmas. Hope you have a good one!" I'm still getting ignored. I switched tactics & said that my math could be off & if they'd like to double-check my figures, I'd be more than happy to send the 400 "Snapshots" I have since my last payout & since there's so many, I would split them up & starting sending the first batch right away. 10 minutes later, "Max" replied...gee, imagine that! 20 minutes after that, I redeemed. BUT GOT A MESSAGE THAT IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 4 TO 6 WEEKS TO PUT IT IN THE MAIL!!! I. AM. DONE. WITH. THEM!!! (You all don't know how tempted I was to send the 400 "Snapshots" anyway...that would keep "Max" busy for a while; certainly tie-up, if not crash their server!):twisted::cry::(
