What's with Toluna?

 I just noticed they deducted 6,750 points from my account today with no explanation. I then also noted that 1,000 points was deducted back in 12/28/2015. I have been with them for about 3 years and this is the first time anything like this as happen. I am not a happy camper to say the least. I emailed their support "team" and we will see what happens. It better be good otherwise they will have a very upset "Old Fart" getting on their case. This "Old Fart", being a former State Licensed Investigator can cause a little havoc when it is called for.

Wondering if anyone else have recently had issues with this site?

:o:shock: I was very surprised this get a response from Toluna about my inquiry this morning about having points being deducted from my account. Their response was:

The points in your account were removed as part of our point expiration policy which has been listed in our terms and conditions. The policy states that any points not redeemed within a year from when they were earned, will expire regardless of your activity.

If you have points which expire at the end of this month, you should see them on your Points page. They appear on a black rectangle.

My fault, did not read the "Terms & Conditions". Just trying to reach 90,000 points which is the lowest amount for a Paypal pay off. I responded back saying I will cash out what points I have left and will no longer participate in any of your activities. There are many other boards which I can spend my time on knowing I will get paid for my work.

Anyone out there you belongs to Toluna, jst be aware of this "Term & Condition". Also Thank You Survey Police for providing this Board so we as members can help & inform each other.

That's rotten and dirty of them!! What if you don't get enough to cash out even thou you work at it daily?? I dropped them like a hot potato a few years back when they cut the points by half. I used to make $20 or more a month if not more, Then 60,000 was $20 and there were bonus's like 5000 for reaching different levels..... :?

Toluna is good at cheating people any way they can.  And, if they can't find a way to cheat you, they make up an excuse and ban you.

I got 'banned' from Toluna a couple of years ago - funnily enough when I had a lot of points ready to redeem. Funny that eh?

They made up some story that the surveys wasn't being completed properly - surely if this occurred the survey would be rejected immediately and the points not added?

I don't miss them and there are plenty of other better sites to use where you don't get cheated out of points, rewards, time and money!!

They have just banned me with no explanation!  I was nearly at enough points to have a decent payout too but they've told me I can't claim anything! I'm not happy!

I closed my Toluna account recently, when all of my points mysteriously disappeared. In my case it was not due to the age of the points, as I have not even been taking surveys for a year yet.

As if they couldn't have sent you an email as the points were nearing expiry.
