What are these sites? I have only received minimal points on the ones I signed up for -enough to cash out in 10 years maybe. |

| I see these of ads all the time. FREE; Ipod (is a old and original one). Remember people, NOTHING IS EVER FREE OR A BARGAIN especially on the web. They all ask for credit card #. You have to sit for hours & go thru pages & pages of advertising trial products but mostly services & signing up for credit cards. One page will have about 20 trials (but never free!!) you need to answer yes or no for each one. This goes on until you've fullfilled your obligation which is usually 5 or 6 rip-off offers. You need to keep & stay w/ the service. Ex; credit cards, music & book clubs, insurance, software, etc.. You NEED to utilize the charge card (after paying a fee), buy your 5th or 6th CD or book for more than it's sold for in stores. Basically it's a trick to get people to fall into scams for a fee. After spending more than the Ipod is worth you may get it after paying s&h. I didn't think people still fell for these (free) ha.. ha.. offers. Gotcha... fool kind of thing. ALWAYS check the BBB or write them about a offer or company. |

Slamina,
There are some free, legal sites out there.
Check out Mutual Points. You can do cashback shopping but there are loads of point earnings which do not cost you. You can sign up to receive emails, search for products via price runner and kellkoo and sign up for various newsletters.
I use all the free points on this and have purchased a few DVD's and I am about to cash out for the 3rd time.
I have not fallen for any scams, as I always check things out carefully and do not give out info which I know could be used for ID fraud.
There are free things on the web, maybe you should check it out first before coming on here and laughing about people, or maybe your just jealous as you have never benefitted. |
