| surveytaker I used same e-mail address and password and they accepted it. the reason they gave for my account being closed was inactivity which is odd because I was only inactive because they stopped sending me surveys. |

Ugh, sad to hear about them giving problems.
I haven't had any problems like this yet (now I wonder why) and have made quite a bit of money with them so I'd hate to have to leave or stop participating because of something shady they are doing |

I can see where you're coming from. Their policy is, however, one must be inactive for 6 months for their account to be deactivated. I don't know about you but I was checking for surveys on their site for months when I quit getting invites for surveys. Only thing was I couldn't even take a survey THAT way because the "take a survey" button wasn't there
If they reply to an email it's to give you the runaround. They never answer a question directly. In fact, if they answer you at all it is usually an answer to a question you never even asked |

| Same thing happened to me surveytaker. I was using the take a survey button almost daily when it disappeared in Dec. I'm guessing they probably had some computer issues that may have deactivated some accounts. I sent them 2 e-mails and they only replied to the 2nd one. try re-regestering with them. |

Ok, I finally got one of those surveys today asking to view the clipboard after every question. The site is "survey4me.cc" and I emailed them asking why they do that, and that no other survey sites have ever asked to view the clipboard before.
I tried going to "survey4me.cc" site but it doesn't work; however that was the URL when I was taking the survey.
Edit to add: the email address I had to send my inquiry to was @mrsi.com; so I looked that up and that is a survey site.

| Speaking of Survey Spot, many of the surveys I am sent, they say I do not qualify after I answer a few initial questions, and then they let me spin the wheel or do the scratch off card to get entries into the sweepstakes. On the few surveys that I HAVE qualified for and completed, the reward was STILL just a wheel or scratch card entry. Do they actually ever give you POINTS for these surveys? I am new at this, so I don't know how their site works. Thanks iin advance for any advice. |

I've never won anything via the scratchcard or spinning the wheel. Although a few years back I did receive a cheque for £3. Every so often they do surveys that reward you with money. I have only ever had this the once though. I joined this company about 2005 and left in 2007 as I didn't thing it was a fair way of doing things. I decided to join them again earlier this year to see if anything has changed and it hasn't. I think that I will be leaving again shortly.
Has anyone else ever received cash for a survey? |

When you are offered a survey, it will tell you if it is a paying survey or not. They let you spin the wheel whether or not you qualify for any survey, paid or not. Some surveys pay, some don't. I've gotten quite a few that do actually, and I've always been paid for them. In fact, SurveySpot has paid me more in total than any other company that I do surveys for. You just have to be diligent; don't wait until you get a survey invite via email. Go to their site daily to check if there are any available surveys, and take all the ones they offer you. The more you take, the higher the chance you'll get a paying one.
Hope this helps. |

| I've been with them for a month now, and all I get from them is surveys that give me sweepstakes entries. When do they start paying real money? |

You have to take all the surveys they have available for you. Even if they don't email you a survey invite, check your account daily for available surveys. You should come across some paying ones hopefully soon.
I just got a $3 survey from them today. |

| Thanks, I'll hang with them for a while longer. Do they charge to cash out? |

You're welcome.
No, they don't charge anything to cash out. You do have to have a minimum $5 balance to cash out, though. |

| Like everyone else I question the validity of some survey comapnies. I must say survey spot is legit. I have been a member since February '08 and have already cashed $16 check. I am currently waiting on a $46 check to arrive. It doesn't usually take long to get it. I go daily to my account and check for new surveys. Lots of times it is sweeps entry. It is nice when a $5 survey pops up. Most of the time the paying ones I find on their site are$3. Just keep checking and the money will come. Also, I did see the "view clipboard" and I just disallowed that. I did question them on a $20 survey that had not credited when I thought it should and as soon as I contacted them they replied that the money would placed in my account and apologized for delay. It pays, literally, to keep up with the ones that are payouts, along with date of survey. |
