Pinecone Research??

What's your favorite online survey panel and why? How long have you been a member for, and why do think they're great?

Pinecone Research??

Postby thadchr » Sun Apr 05, 2009 12:02 am

So, I finally found one of those banners for Pinecone and signed up through that. I gave all my info, etc., and it said I'd get an e-mail if selected for the panel.

That was a week ago, if not more, and I've got nothing back. Do you actually not accept people? I thought that was the whole point of the hidden banners?

thadchr.....I haven't even tried to register w/Pinecone because everyone has been complaining about them. Let me know if it works out for you. Good luck.

I just started on this whole survey journey recently. I signed up for PineCone and got an email back within a couple of days. Some say it takes time but I didn't have much trouble getting in. Maybe they needed more people in my demo and not in yours? Just a thought.

I just signed up March 28th. It was a weekend and by Monday I had a response from them. It was a three step process. I think with the third step my first survey came and today I recieved a check for $3.00

I have been with Pinecone about 6 months. I get 2-3 surveys per month. Not much money to be made with Pinecone. You do get a pt sometimes but unlike the other survey companies they donot pay extra. Now they even want you to send the product back! I have yet to see anything special about Pinecone except they send out the $3 checks in just a few days.

They pay extra if you return your pt if it's available and they pay for the follow up survey.

I hate to sound like a cliche, but the economy really has taken a toll on Pinecone. It used to be a really great site, where you could take 5-10 surveys a month @ $5 a pop. Now I'm "lucky" to get 1 or 2/mo. @ $3 a pop. I still enjoy taking the few Pinecone's that I get b/c they pay quickly (like day after survey complete) and use Paypal.

i love pinecone. i have been with them nearly a year. its based on your profile on what you will be chosen for. i get an average of at least 2 per week. mine is alot of food and dog food. they do pay very quick. but they clearly state when you sign up which panel you are signing up for. mine was $3 no matter what. i do get in home products not as much as last year. but i will sometimes get to try the product and then do another survey and get paid again. very common. but they just had an open enrollment just a few weeks ago. i have personally spoken with them too. great customer service and very personalable. when you are invited its not oh my the survey is going to close they give you time to do the survey and a date when its going to end. i hope this helps! :D

I love Pinecone Research. I get about 5 surveys a month and the checks ($3.00) follow promptly. I have been a member for about 6 months. I have also been sent 2 products to test. Would recommend.
