Here we go again.
I was taking a survey for MySurvey.com. Said it was for 5 points and should take 5 minutes. It also had a lengthy explanation about how you will be re-directed to another site and upon completing will be directed back to get credit.
While taking the survey, it said I qualified for a longer survey for 290 points so I took it. It was about fast food places and was hosted by lightspeed.
I took my time and gave honest answers. It even had those questions like "mark #4" to see if you are paying attention. I spent over 25 minutes and got 100% through it. At the end when it said "click here to be re-directed" I got the error -

So I log back into my account at MySurvey.com. I did not get any points for the survey and it still shows as available. Clicking on the link starts the survey over.
I am so sick of these survey companies getting all my answers and then giving an error so they don't have to give credit!!!
How come I never get an error when buy something online? How come I never get an error at the beginning of the survey? How come I never have an error that gives me credit without finishing the survey?
MySurvey is usually pretty good about resolving issues but the frequency with which their surveys are going into errors makes me wonder about them. I emailed them and will see what happens.
To many companys use the excuse that they don't host the survey and only get paid if the survey is completed so can't pay if it goes into an error. I think it is their responsibilty to make sure surveys are working and pay people for their time if they aren't.
