  1. Have you noticed that survey time completely underestimated. Just completed a 10 minute survey from Cint that took 25 minutes and this is par for the course. I have thought of just supplying random info after I reach estimated time. Since the survey company is irresponsible they deserve the same treatment. Also, have you noticed more and more prelims are actually surveys in disguise and you are disqualified with zero reward? Cint seems to be the worst and they are infecting other surveys.

  2. I often see some subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) bias in these political surveys. The way they're constructed, for example, steering you to answer a certain way or even the actual wording of the questions. That's why even though I do surveys, I disregard the findings. Think by now we all know how misleading/wrong surveys, polls, etc. can be. (Edit to include something else I just thought of.) These sort of surveys also can be factually flawed. Recently had two similar surveys asking whether I would support or oppose certain legislation in my state. Problem was that two of the pieces of legislation had already been proposed, put on the ballot, voted on, passed and enacted...as much as three years ago! I pointed this out in both the first and second survey (in the survey comments section), but I begin to suspect that when you're asked for comments about a survey, they often are ignored, wasting my time and very rudimentary keyboard skills.

  3. How is this for a Pie In The Sky Dream. How about a BILL OF RIGHTS for survey takers. Or a paid subscription to a site similar to Survey Police that actually had control of the survey portal. Maybe a small claims court for our use. I appreciate the comments one and all.

  4. I've been doing YouGov for years and I never got a survey opportunity like that. It took me 9 months to get paid something for YouGov Pulse.

  5. I used them for several years and a year ago, they made a slide to crapland. I stopped doing surveys in january and only did the daily polls, it took 10 months to make a payout. After that I started trying surveys again but only undertake surveys that have a single digit estimate time. otherwise I move to my next book marked panel.

  6. Oh, it can be quite a ride. In texas some very contentious senate races lead to some very peculiar surveys about the candidates. Such as the Cruz/O'Rourke race. Like was this attack ad good, or was this one better? which attack ad is more believable? It was so outlandish, I made screen shots of the ads. If you change your political leanings from survey to survey the closer to the election, you will get to see the oppositions strategy.

  7. What with a new election coming up where I live and all the BS going on in the government, been getting quite a few political surveys lately. Was curious what others felt about these, sometimes they end up feeling like some sort of ad for a particular person.

  8. Some other survey site sent me a survey from Yuno, now I'm a member of Yuno Surveys. Very new and I don't know much about them. 600 points gets you $5 Amazon card. surveys are about 30-100 points and take from 10-30 minutes each. I can't find out anything else about them, maybe someone on SurveyPolice will know more.

  9. I have never seen anything like this before. Nope, I wouldn't cooperate. Hope you don't have too much invested in them.

  10. Grumpy, no way in hell I would give them that info. I think that is absolutely ridiculous. They basically are saying they will not help you unless you give them private info over the internet for a survey that probably is worth about a dollar or so. No way. I’d tell them to get bent.

  11. Yeah, I have seen some interesting stuff in political surveys lately. A lot of them have questions on how I feel about investigations, impeachment, what direction the country is going to, etc. I think things will continue to get more interesting, and more biased in the surveys as we get closer to the election.

  12. I've gotten kind of hooked on these "just walking around the city" videos on YouTube. And that's exactly what they are: some dude (who you rarely actually see) shooting POV video while walking around a city, New York, Paris, London, etc., sometimes with narration, other times not. No clue why I'm so infatuated with these really "not much going on" videos. I have to do some soul searching. Or maybe talk to a therapist.

  13. Yes- when you click on the VARIES surveys for a full week now it says that there no surveys and does not reroute back to oneopinion-so you get no dq points and have to go back to oneopinion-the bad part too is that it counts as one survey given to you for that day.

  14. It just keeps getting better. I clicked on the link in the email inviting me to a new survey. As usual that one was closed but another was offered. Clicked on that link led me to a screen that said I had been blocked. Went to the support page and got the screen shown in the screen cap. I clicked on the most recent reply and got the messages show in the second attached file. I have never been asked for this information. I am eager to hear how others here would feel being asked for this type of information.

  15. I avoid CINT like the plague. If one shows up, I click the link that says you'd rather not be qualified for a survey this time....I'm paraphrasing it. I can't remember the exact verbage. Same thing with Ampario, Peanut Labs and Ipsos. In fact most of these survey companies have become so lousy, I'm about ready to ixnay 90% of them.

  16. Cint surveys are fruitless. So, if I'm feeling experimental I try to see what it takes to screen out and if I can improve has fast I can get out of a Cint survey.

  17. Can't say I've ever tried the expanded paid versions of YouTube, but I do like the regular one. Pretty amazing all the random stuff you can find there, I was watching one the other day with people going through the new Star Wars world at Disney which was fun, and around Halloween I watched one with folks going through the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. Kind of like getting to see the thing without being there.

  18. Seriously? I find that Netflix has content for just about any interest. Which begs the question what sort of things do you like to watch?

  19. I've been getting email invitations to surveys most days. I don't even remember signing up but then I am a bit of a tart when it comes to survey sites. I don't think it's going to be very lucrative so I ignore most invites.

  20. I used to earn at least 1500 points each month, then a couple of months ago the number of points offered seemed to be slashed and surveys dried up - or rather the number of surveys I qualified for dried up. To add insult to injury each one I managed to complete ended with me receiving a 'Quota Full' message meaning I had to contact them to get the points added manually. I've deleted my account. It's an utter waste of time.

  21. I haven't used them in several months. They made some changes that were supposed to be better but weren't really. I haven't had any downtime with my usual sites so no time for them anyway.

  22. I’ve been getting pretty much nothing but varies surveys. Then it says there is nothing. I cannot get past it, even after refreshing my browser. I told their stupid AI that I didn’t want any more of the varies surveys. I told it to escalate my demand to a human supervisor. If I keep getting these, I will dump them like a bad habit.

  23. I find enough to watch on Netflix to keep me using it. Of course, I'm not paying for it either. Share an account with my daughter, and she pays.

  24. Same here. I ran into Yuno when Prize Rebel started offering them not too long ago. Haven't gotten anything out of Yuno other than a bunch of qualifying questions, so I've been passing on them when they show up. And they keep asking me what device I'm using, but never offer a laptop option. Huh? Also have been ignoring their emails, as the pay seems pretty low. And I'm not much a fan of gift cards. Show me the money!

  26. oneopinion unfortunatly was just taken over by them. They are like a virus- they take over great companies and then slowly destroy them
