  1. Paid Viewpoint, One Opinion, Prolific, Tellwut. That's about it for me. If you can find a way to join Pinecone, they're good but seldom send invitations. Prolific is now my favorite but you have to keep going there...they do sometimes send an invitation but by the time I see it, it's full. Intelligent, interesting surveys.

  2. Just curious if people here like random topic surveys that can jump all over the place. Personally, I sometimes find them more fun than ones going on and on about one topic or item. One minute you might be rating some product idea, then giving your opinion on a news topic and so on.

  3. Same here. When I started in 2000 or so , I was in my early 40's. Now , I am retired / disabled. Never married , no kids. Not the same demographics. Still with some of the sites I started with (LIfepoints - My Survey , ACOP , SurveySavvy , and OneOpinion) and have added a couple new ones along the way (MyPoints , Crowdology , PaidViewpoint). Was with Pinecone and HarrisPollOnline , but got purged without notice several years ago. I can only manage a certain amount of online time doing surveys without burnout.

  4. I used to belong to 2 community groups and made $25 a month just for chiming in, but it didn't last long. They seem to clean house pretty regularly, so I am thankful when I get one of those for a few months. I got rid of quite a few survey sites over the past 3 years. Some were my best sites when I started. There are more that are going to go, and I will be down to about 3 sites that I will even deal with. The surveys have slowed down for sure, and I am hoping they increase here in a week or so, but I am not holding my breath.

  5. Wowsa, can't say I keep any survey e-mails or cash outs unless they are still pending. Guess the main thing I've noticed over the years are the type of rewards, or simply less points / cash per survey. I've never had a problem cashing out, but have had my share of questions as to why I took all or most of a survey and got no credit. But yeah, think it's safe to say the times they are a changing.

  6. My demographics have changed since I began doing surveys, my daughter is now an adult, I am older, I don't make the same money, I don't do the same type of work, my vehicle has changed, you get the picture. The companies are always looking for something different. I don't make anywhere near what some of these folks do. I am lucky if I get $25 a month, because most of the time it isn't even that much. You can sign into and try a few sites and keep what find works for you.

  7. I think we all need to take a break from the surveys and do something else for are own sanity they definitely have not been profitable lately I hope they will pick up soon.

  8. That's one of the more annoying aspects of doing surveys, heh. And when I'm not in the mood, I'll just dismiss the survey. I have developed fairly stock answers to the usual questions (favorite artist, favorite memory, etc.); with some alterations here or there. I would never rack my brains for a well-though out, fresh response, though. 1 to 2 sentences at the most.
