  1. Me! (Not true even in the remotest sense of the word, but I just could not resist!)

  2. Wow, it really does seem like YMMV depending on the person. For example, Opinion Outpost and One Opinion screwed me over royally and cancelled my accounts refusing to pay me once I got close to cashing out, even though I did nothing wrong. I would NEVER EVER trust those crooks again. ACOP - I am surprised they are still around. Several years ago, they were taking at least 2 months to pay me via paypal and that was only after numerous emails I sent them. I thought they went out of business. However, Paidviewpoint is the absolute BEST because you never DQ and their surveys are the easiest of all of them. Next to them, I'd say 1Q app is the easiest because they send you 25 cent one question polls randomly to your phone that pays immediately via paypal. I like Pinecone too (but they don't always accept newcomers). Their surveys are a little longer (about 7 min. approx), but pay 300 pts. OR $3.00 paypal for every survey they send. So those are my top 3 easiest ones.

  3. Agree. Not sure why some surveys have many seemingly unrelated questions, but it is better than answering forty questions about some kind of weird tea you're never heard of.

  4. Same here. When I started in 2000 or so , I was in my early 40's. Now , I am retired / disabled. Never married , no kids. Not the same demographics. Still with some of the sites I started with (LIfepoints - My Survey , ACOP , SurveySavvy , and OneOpinion) and have added a couple new ones along the way (MyPoints , Crowdology , PaidViewpoint). Was with Pinecone and HarrisPollOnline , but got purged without notice several years ago. I can only manage a certain amount of online time doing surveys without burnout.

  5. I know Branded Surveys gives 5 pts (5 cents) every day for answering their one question daily poll. This adds up to about $10 paypal cash every 6 months, so it does add up eventually. I am just curious if there are any other survey sites that offer something similar (and not force you to answer any of their other longer surveys) for paypal cash?

  6. Just curious if people here like random topic surveys that can jump all over the place. Personally, I sometimes find them more fun than ones going on and on about one topic or item. One minute you might be rating some product idea, then giving your opinion on a news topic and so on.

  7. Even though Swagbucks has started limiting my DQ points so that I spend less time there, it's still one of the better sites for me. I only do the surveys, but there are other ways to earn points I can't speak to. Yes, LifePoints pays via PayPal. But many here have been having all sorts of problems with them if you check that thread. Survey lengths can typically vary anywhere from five to twenty minutes or more. I only try the shortest ones, though, because LifePoints is notorious for not crediting completed surveys. So I try to limit my time wasted. It's not one of my favorite sites. Minimum cash out is $5 PayPal or an Amazon gift card for $5. Others you mention, I don't know about. Hope this helps a smidge.

  8. I am curious about Swagbucks though. They do not have the best reviews on here, yet many of you in this forum claim they are really good. Are they worth joining? Also, I never heard of Point Club, Lifepoints, or Catch. Do they all pay via paypal cash? How long are their surveys and what is their cash out minimums?

  9. Well, I was trying the Branded regular surveys after 10 months of just the dailies and it didn't take them long, a month, to start beating up on me again. First they flagged me for completing survey's too fast and I explained to support that I do surveys with time estimates of less than 10 min. After that downgrade in reputation was attributed to missing "trap" questions. I know to look for trap questions and trap questionnaires. Trap questionnaires are designed to catch straight liners, random clicks and non-readers. I know they do that and even make an effort to recall the selections I've made previously in a survey. There are surveys that are very complex, to ferret out the low quality panelists and I spot those too. Branded is not using these complex surveys and is just making my survey experience difficult. So I've gone back to just doing the dailies and TV surveys, not waste any more time and instead complete surveys with panels that respect their panelists.

  10. Paid Viewpoint, One Opinion, Prolific, Tellwut. That's about it for me. If you can find a way to join Pinecone, they're good but seldom send invitations. Prolific is now my favorite but you have to keep going there...they do sometimes send an invitation but by the time I see it, it's full. Intelligent, interesting surveys.

  11. I used to belong to 2 community groups and made $25 a month just for chiming in, but it didn't last long. They seem to clean house pretty regularly, so I am thankful when I get one of those for a few months. I got rid of quite a few survey sites over the past 3 years. Some were my best sites when I started. There are more that are going to go, and I will be down to about 3 sites that I will even deal with. The surveys have slowed down for sure, and I am hoping they increase here in a week or so, but I am not holding my breath.

  12. Wowsa, can't say I keep any survey e-mails or cash outs unless they are still pending. Guess the main thing I've noticed over the years are the type of rewards, or simply less points / cash per survey. I've never had a problem cashing out, but have had my share of questions as to why I took all or most of a survey and got no credit. But yeah, think it's safe to say the times they are a changing.
