  1. How can this stuff be legal? Can you imagine how much money they pocket in a year doing this kind of stuff?

  2. The last several months I have been getting more and more of these surveys with variable points. As a rule I do not take surveys which don't state what they pay up front so I have been skipping them. I'm curious if anyone has done enough of these to form an opinion whether they're worth bothering with or if their just another way to get people to work for virtually nothing.

  3. One from Pincone and another from One Opinion guess they don't want to pay us for testing anymore .I asked Pinecone got a canned response and what I thought was a Viewpoint survey turned out to be One Opinion listen to what Julie from Viewpoint said Thank you for your email. Even though you are a member of the Viewpoint Forum panel you were not recruited through VPF. You were recruited through OneOpinion to participate in this study for us. OneOpinion should have sent you a survey invitation email on Monday, the 21st, letting you know the survey was available for you to complete. We asked OneOpinion to send a survey reminder yesterday (the 23rd) and another one on Friday, the 25th. If you have not received the survey invite or yesterday's survey reminder, please reach out to OneOpinion - [email protected] - and ask them to send the survey to you. Let me know if you have any questions. How am I suppose to do this if they never answer their phone.Guess I should make them aware of this if they are not going to follow thru with their surveys.

  6. I have been doing them however it depends on how long they are.It will tell you that much after you click to enter the survey.I don't tend to do the ones that are more then 20 to 25 minutes.Hmmm our little secret, I purposely will try to get kicked off just to get the 50 points though.Especially on days that I don't have a lot of time to be doing surveys to begin with. Quick note not all of them will give you a time frame

  7. Surprise! just had one of the variable point ones and it worked. Got 250 points. Also , did a j D Power one a day or so ago that went on for 20 minutes and looked to be nearing the end (demographics started) then was DQed. Left a message for support and they said that Ithe survey did DQ me , but they also noted the time spent doing it and awarded 500 points.

  9. I had a sneaking feeling this would happen. Last survey I took was June 25th. I've been a panel member of E-Rewards since Nov 2008. Always just had one account. Once Dynata took over last year things started to change for the worse. Usually once a month, the site would be down on my end. No surveys at all. Usually a week at a time. I'd email customer service and I would get the standard response, clear your cache and cookies and try again. I did that and nothing changed. I'd email customer service again, giving them a cut and paste of my account of what happened. Never emailed me back to say hey your account is ok, go back on. I'd log in a few days later and I'd be back to business again. Not this time.....the longer it took, the more I smell getting dumped. And I did. I got the dear John letter from them today that my account was flagged for rushing through answers, inattentive and possibly more than one account. How anyone could have time for another account is beyond me. I gave them a bad review on the site. I'm furious with them. I've got money in my account that I'd like to redeem. I seriously doubt they'll let me do that. I'm done with surveys. It's nothing but a waste of my precious time, energy and intellect. They can go pound sand. I think I could make more money selling used items at a garage sale or E-Bay.

  10. episemion, I heard back today and thy said that they inadvertently gave me 50 points I did not earn. I can't figure it out no matter how hard I try but 50 points is not worth worrying about. But when you add that to 100 points for a survey I took and didn't get the points, it begins to add up. IS just aggravating when they say they gave me the points and they did not after contacting the help desk. So much inconsistency and odd goings on...wish it was different.

  11. Exactly Rosiesmom. Someone on another thread alluded to the fact that their AI fraud sensors are way off kilter and just bans anyone for the least amount. I think that's what's happening in my case. I do a lot of political surveys. I suspect my viewpoint isn't that popular with the companies who run these surveys (even though they want the truth). I'm not going to lie and say something I don't believe. Quick thoughts did this to me a couple of years ago. I went back on a few months ago, logged in and right back to doing surveys again. Same thing with my friend. Banned her around the same time. She logged in, made about $400, then banned again. It's all so childish. I'm just done with surveys. Time wasting cheats.
