  1. That's a very significant number. It is no wonder it draws so many unscrupulous actors for so long. https://blog.responster.com/the-future-of-the-survey-market-lies-in-mobile-surveying

  2. This is tactic of low grade support. When a ticket or request is submitted, they can close the request as answered. This is done for what is called "metrics", These support personal are judged by the number of tickets they resolve. It's more work for you but you have submit each question separately. I suggest composing your request in a separate text app of your choice and paste in to a new ticket. Keep the notes you created, because many support groups don't show you your original submission and it may be hard to follow the response that was a long time in coming.

  3. Great article! Thanks for posting this. And that 39 billion was back in 2012. I bet it’s quite a bit more than that now. They rake in the money, but treat their survey takers like crap and screw them left and right. Disgusting. There is not near enough regulation for this. Also, yeah, most survey companies do not have mobile friendly surveys. I have a desktop that I hardly ever use because I have my Ipad and smart phone that I can take with me. It is really annoying when a survey says I have to take it on a desktop. It’s not worth the extra time and hassle for me to fire up my desktop to take a $0.50 survey. So I just X out. These survey companies are missing out and are very selfish and unscrupulous.

  4. E-Rewards and Quick Thoughts are owned by Dynata. Once Dynata took over E-Rewards and changed their website, everything went downhill. Once a month their website sticks. It's usually down for about a week. I'll send them an email and I get the same response. Try clearing your cache and cookies. It reminds me of the SNL episode where the IT man comes to Jennifer Anniston's desk and asks her the same stupid question, did you turn your machine off and on again? No surveys and now I can't redeem survey's. I'm getting an error code. I tried another reward that I redeemed 6 months ago and I still received the error code. Quick Thoughts have had no surveys for me at all. Which is odd, as usually in the morning I get the .40 cent one for Pop Surveys. I'm either being shadow banned from these sites, or they're down again or they ixnayed my account and haven't told me yet. Anyone else having issues with these two sites?

  5. Throttling an account is how survey companies get around not paying for work done, by keeping a panelist below the payout threshold. UserCrowd, ViewPointForum, Walmart Spark surveys, and others do this. Some like Toluna, Walmart, i-say will forfeit the points, if they languish too long. This is one of the unethical behaviors of this industry that I'm contemplating making a stink about to regulators.

  6. I gave up on i-say a couple of years ago. In spite of their long history of offering surveys, they have done very little to endear themselves to survey takers. I hope that they will dry up and blow away

  7. I had a sneaking feeling this would happen. Last survey I took was June 25th. I've been a panel member of E-Rewards since Nov 2008. Always just had one account. Once Dynata took over last year things started to change for the worse. Usually once a month, the site would be down on my end. No surveys at all. Usually a week at a time. I'd email customer service and I would get the standard response, clear your cache and cookies and try again. I did that and nothing changed. I'd email customer service again, giving them a cut and paste of my account of what happened. Never emailed me back to say hey your account is ok, go back on. I'd log in a few days later and I'd be back to business again. Not this time.....the longer it took, the more I smell getting dumped. And I did. I got the dear John letter from them today that my account was flagged for rushing through answers, inattentive and possibly more than one account. How anyone could have time for another account is beyond me. I gave them a bad review on the site. I'm furious with them. I've got money in my account that I'd like to redeem. I seriously doubt they'll let me do that. I'm done with surveys. It's nothing but a waste of my precious time, energy and intellect. They can go pound sand. I think I could make more money selling used items at a garage sale or E-Bay.

  8. Same here....was trying to cash in my money....got the error messages....emailed the issue to them with screenshots....next thing I know, they terminated me. And Mona....the person that I was emailing to back and forth....tells me that she is sorry. Wow, blow out, why don't you Mona!!!! I guess that with the virus issue, they need all the money they can get....ours, that is.
