I used to get one that would ask "What city is closest to you" with the choices of Virginia or California. Huh??

My biggest problem over the past several months is the fact that I am getting ripped off more than ever before. More than 10% of all completed surveys by me now lead to a disqualification or non-payment (or that token penny). That only tempts me to cheat on more surveys (like doing a survey you already did for another site). I'd rather not do that, but these companies need to take more responsibility for whatever happens when they sponsor surveys from other sources. Don't waste a person's time. That said, people should always expect holidays and weekends to be slower, and strategize around that.

This has always been a gray area, but by law, ALL your income (except gifts) are supposed to be reported to the IRS each year. However, if all your survey earnings and income from other sources dont meet the IRS filing requirements, then you do not have to file obviously. (Keep in mind some survey companies title yoir earnings as "gifts" and therefore not required to report those. However, the IRS will only know about your earnings IF a company issues you a 1099 or W2. Therefore, you have close to a 0% chance of getting in trouble for not reporting.

Wow, it really does seem like YMMV depending on the person. For example, Opinion Outpost and One Opinion screwed me over royally and cancelled my accounts refusing to pay me once I got close to cashing out, even though I did nothing wrong. I would NEVER EVER trust those crooks again. ACOP - I am surprised they are still around. Several years ago, they were taking at least 2 months to pay me via paypal and that was only after numerous emails I sent them. I thought they went out of business. However, Paidviewpoint is the absolute BEST because you never DQ and their surveys are the easiest of all of them. Next to them, I'd say 1Q app is the easiest because they send you 25 cent one question polls randomly to your phone that pays immediately via paypal. I like Pinecone too (but they don't always accept newcomers). Their surveys are a little longer (about 7 min. approx), but pay 300 pts. OR $3.00 paypal for every survey they send. So those are my top 3 easiest ones.

My demographics have changed since I began doing surveys, my daughter is now an adult, I am older, I don't make the same money, I don't do the same type of work, my vehicle has changed, you get the picture. The companies are always looking for something different. I don't make anywhere near what some of these folks do. I am lucky if I get $25 a month, because most of the time it isn't even that much. You can sign into and try a few sites and keep what find works for you.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays everyone. I don't get a chance to say it often but this is one of the best communities on the internet. We may be a small crowd but still one of the best!

Here's one I got earlier today. "Do you consider yourself Jewish for any reason?" For any reason?

I cashed out on Pinecone for 600 pts ($6.00 paypal) a couple days ago and it still didn't process. This is unusual because they always processed my paypal cashouts on the very next business day. It wont let me contact them either. In fact, it seems Pinecone is now making it nearly impossible to contact them. Whats going on??

At the moment, have to say I'm rather ticked off with Point Club. Took a whole survey with them which told me at the end I didn't qualify because I'd taken it before. Maybe so, I don't recall every survey I take, but come on, you do not have a person take a whole freaking survey then tell them that. I complained to the powers that be at Point Club and thus far have got the typical form type replies that don't even address what I'm telling them, so flipping the bird to Point Club at the moment, then chilling with a beer. End rant.

I made about $240. I work on surveys 4-5 hours a day on average to get that.

Sorry, you've reached your temporary redemption limit for this reward." Wonder how long "temporary" is? I believe its 30 days between redemptions of the same item. That happened to me in I think October and as soon as Nov rolled around I could redeem for more hotel points. But in Nov I was able to redeem more than once on the same hotel program odd reply about some rewards not being provided through my 'enrollment provider'. Long long time ago with e-rewards choice hotels points was listed but I couldn't redeem it & it turned out that other countries could redeem for choice points but not usa (that has since changed) Something to consider some of the hotel programs do offer redemptions for other than hotel nights. If you have family that travel you can redeem for a gift card to that chain vs a free night or I have redeemed for i think for either amazon or paypal (this was years ago & the point to reward ratio may not be as good as other sites but it is an option)

I don't know if they got new gift certificates since I mainly get Macy's to give to my Mom for Christmas. However their point value changed used to be $70 for a $25 gift certificate now it's 75 for a $25 gc.I guess they finally realized that they were asking $70 for a $25 gc and $ 150 for a $50 gc because they now changed it to 145 for the $50..Oh well that was good while it lasted.I do think they got more I saw a Burlington and I don't remember seeing that one before.
