  1. Has anyone gotten a survey from Focus Forward on weight loss, maybe 2 like I did, proceed to answer 20 plus minutes of questions to be told at the end that the required number of responses have already been reached? What a bunch of deceitful miners! How likely is Focus Forward to delete my data since it wasn't needed? Of course not. These snakes have a way of mining our time and data and then refusing to pay and they know we have no way of knowing if their denial is valid or not. I used to have respect for Focus Forward but no longer. I bet they only needed a small number of people's answers but let countless users go ahead and respond. If you don't know or use this group, don't bother.

  2. I've gotten that "employed full time" nonsense several times. If they are only looking for people who are employed full time, that's a pretty lame way to do it.

  3. So, in short, Pinecone isn't worth trying?

  4. I get it alot especially on one site.. and it's even before I have responded to a question..

  5. I got that question this morning too.. of course I was kicked off. If I had the money to spend 1000 dollars on a handbag, I wouldn't need to do these nonsensical surveys and they are becoming more non nonsensical and redundant by the day. They can't think of anything new.

  6. I have seen one survey company (can't remember which one) who warms before you start that if they reach the required number of respondents before you finish, you won't get credit, but for the most part, I think it's a way to get info without ponying up the rewards. If it makes you feel any better, this seems to happen far less often than it did when I took surveys 15 years ago. I'd finish one in 20, maybe, and always get kicked off at the end. It's why I quit taking them back then.

  7. I hate that " suspected violation"! How in the world can you violate something you haven't even started? And why are you invited if you already took the survey?

  8. I see that or similar periodically. Annoying , but I can live with it.

  9. This " required number of respondents has already been reached" happens far too often on so many sites. It's so very frustrating as we've spent so much time and effort and then we get no credit. Happens more and more lately.

  11. I've got to say, taking surveys in my experience is much better now than it was some time back. I tried for about a year with two companies in 2008. One company hardly gave me any surveys. The other was bought by another company that raised the payout from $10 to $25. Since my first payout came mostly with help from the bonuses gotten for filling out beginning questions (even down to the brand of refrigerator and toaster I owned), I knew I'd never get to $25. Most surveys were around 10 points apiece, and I'd get to finish around 1 out of 20. I gave up and only started surveys again about six months ago. It's much better now.

  12. I have never joined but too bad it has changed

  13. I do not know why they need this either. I usually do not continue the survey.

  14. I get it also and I click as soon as it pops up.

  15. Equally as bad , just got one that had only one answer choice for employment status - "Employed full time". What about those that are part time , retired , or unemployed?

  16. Agree. Way too many issues that never happened before.

  17. I've had several in the past week that took a while and included answers I had to write. Then I got DQ'd at the end. Besides being angry at wasting my time, I always feel gypped because they got all the answers they wanted without having to pay. Luckily, this doesn't happen nearly as much as it did when I first took surveys for a few months 15 years ago. It got so stupid I quit, especially when the site I used got sold to somebody who raised the payout from $10 to $25. I knew I'd never get that much because payouts per survey were much less then. After I quit, the idiots kept pestering me with e-mails begging me to come back.

  20. So do I. I don't choose long surveys deliberately because I've spent too much time on them only to get DQ'd at the end, so I'd rather stick to the shorter ones. I suspect it's because many screeners bounce you around. One screener I get a lot says "we're finding you a survey." What about the one I clicked on in the first place? If it's full or whatever, bounce me out and let me find my own substitute.

  21. I've done the cat survey at least 30 times and never had a problem with it. I got three surveys from the same survey site yesterday that had phishing risks, each one being from a different source. Haven't had a single problem today, so I guess the site owners cleared out the "trash." This is why I like survey sites that ask why you're leaving a survey. It makes it so easy to report dangers like this.

  22. I agree it's nothing like it used to be

  23. Got that last week. Don't know anyone who would be interested either. Besides Pinecone is at present nothing more than a shadow of its old self and I'd never recommend them. Sorry to be so harsh but I truly believe this to be true.

  24. I blush to admit it, but I sorta like that little cat. It reminds me of the lawyer with a cat screener stuck to his face during a remote court conference who insisted: "I am not a cat." Different... strokes?

  25. Hi Sandy21, I am a brand new member of Survey Police and am enjoying your very generous contributions here. I am amazed at the sinking level of customer service (to survey takers, and more generally customers, job applicants, ad nauseum.) in business life in general It seems that with a very basic investment and a little thought, so much goodwill could be returned. It is epidemic. Best to you, MM

  28. Paid Viewpoints is really good once you get your trait score raised to 10,000. Until then you get a lot of $.10 surveys. I think yougov is good too, and Clear Voice. Survey Police also has a list of the best survey sites every year.

  29. Oh, I loved Fresh and Easy too! I still miss them, understand they were a.UK company that didn't find the US market profitable.

  30. Update: Just another scammy app. They ask same questions multiple times in same survey. The surveys last way longer than indicated, only to DQ you eventually without giving any credit. The only money I made was when I first signed up and answered some profile questions, but not enough to cash out. Another waste of an app.

  31. Agree. From what I have seen here , nothing like the good old days. When I was dropped to "freshen the panel" , they had just gone to the router system instead of the original system where if you got an email invite , you had that survey. The router sent one on a goose chase and all of the surveys I received at that point were for drinkers , smokers , of gamers - I am none of those - so always DQed.

  32. Just got the following: 1) Do you have any pets? None That was the ONLY choice. I have 2 dogs but since I had no choice but None I clicked on None and got the following: "We are sorry but you do not qualify as we are looking for pet owners" Go figure!
