Veylink Auction

So again, this morning, iPoll redirects me to a site called "Veylink" where it asks me to place a bid for a prize - in this case, a $100 amazon g/c.  The site says you can place a bid of "0" and then when you do because you don't know what the hell is going on, you get dq'd. What's up with this? They don't have anywhere to enter payment info. After you place the bid of "0" , it  asks if you "understood that this was a real auction where you could actually get the prize" or some such confusion. What is this mess, lol?.
