Elsa13
Hi, I am doing a research project for the first time and I am really not an expert so I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. Basically, I would like to test if different characteristics of a person have an impact on the attitude towards this person of the participants. People will see pictures and have to rate a person on the picture with regards to different characteristics. For the characteristics I will use different items (already existing scales, e.g. attractiveness) to measure them (factor analysis). Now my question is: how do I measure the attitude towards that person in the questionnaire. After people rate the person based on the characteristics (e.g. attractiveness measured with 5 items), at the end of the questionnaire do I just ask: What is your attitude towards that person (positive, neutral, negative)? Or is there a better way to do it. For example: Item1 ---> Item2 ---> Characteristic1 ------> Item3 ---> xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Attitude towards that person Item1---> Item2---> Characteristic2 -------> Item3---> Thank you for your help!
