Request for Drivers License Number

I was completing  a survey the other day and answered the usual demographic questions, and then was asked for my drivers license number.  I have never been asked that before.  I consider myself relatively intelligent and I ALMOST gave it to them.  Realized quickly that this could not be legit and ended the survey.  Unfortunately I didn't save the survey address.  It was a survey I was sent to from Branded.  Has this happened to anyone else?

No, can't say I have ever seen that before, and certainly quite odd, I would not give it out either, same as a credit card or bank number.

Although I might be inclined to reveal my blood type if the survey reward was high enough.

Never had that happen, but did have one that asked for my social security number.  That was quite a few years back.  I let the survey company know about it.  Never heard from them.

No way would I give my driver license number. From the things I hear about Branded, they sound pretty sketchy anyway. Sorry that happened to you.
