Survey vs. Screener

I'm just learning the difference and thought I would share. A survey might be all there is, or it might be a screening questionnaire that determines if you qualify for selection in another type of research study for cash. Some surveys pay out in points or credits, some offer entry into a sweepstakes, but few offer real money to complete. Screeners, on the other hand, are worth the time, because if you do qualify, you might be invited to talk on the phone, be in a focus group, or submit your online video review for a significant amount of money (usually at least $50). Be sure to answer correctly, as I know most companies will double check your identity and answers before they invite you.

I know when I first started looking for surveys online, I didn't understand there were different types, hope you find this clarification useful.

Good luck, y'all!
