Transperfect Dataforce Wants Me To Sign An Agreement

Received a strange email from a focus group company that I worked with on a couple occassions in NYC. I copied and pasted the email below. It seems they want everyone to sign some agreement. Of course I am not signing anything this vague, especially since I am not scheduled for any upcoming studies.

"In order to comply with the law, TransPerfect requires all vendors to review and electronically sign the updated version of the GDPR agreement. By signing this agreement, you confirm that you understand what is necessary to comply with the GDPR and you commit to taking the necessary measures to protect any personal data TransPerfect might share with you during collaboration on projects.

After December 17th 2022, TransPerfect will not be able to send any work to vendors who have not signed the updated agreement. To avoid interruptions to our collaboration, please sign the agreement as soon as possible."

I could be wrong but it seem that was meant for the people providing the surveys not the people taking them because they said Vendor, survey takers are not vendors.

Agree. Do a quick search on the term "GDPR agreement". It looks like something between the survey originator and the survey host , not the individual participants. Contacting the company would be in order.
