I have a long history with OneOpinion. It became one of my favorite survey sites both for the quality of customer support I received and for the payouts I was able to redeem.  My choice of reward was always PayPal and OneOpinion used a verification code (sent to my phone) method to approve and process the cashout.  

I was floored to see the announcement of closing and implementation of Veriff for screening.  Sorry to lose OneOpinion but there are no circumstances under which I would submit anything to Veriff.  Some online research claims Veriff is part of an AI platform located in Estonia of all places (impervious to access by consumer watchdog groups) and that the parent company sells the data to multiple global buyers as fast as it can collect it.  I have no proof that this is true and I have no proof that it is not so I'm going with a gut feeling here.  It seems to me like an invitation to Identity-Theft-Purgatory.  

I was about halfway on points when I got the announcement so I spent more time than usual trying to reach cashout and today I hit 25000.  Went through steps to redeem and was relieved to see the old verification method still intact.  So if you have the time to spend, I say give it a try before the clock runs out.

Hoping the code method still works if I get to the cashout level. Have received emails saying they will close the account if I do not comply with the Veriff requirements. Seems odd to require such after a user has been with them at least 20 years with no issues. Will see.

I hit 25 today too.. Cashed out and that's it for me.. I was with them for years. I used to cash out with Visa cards and they always arrived on time

I agree, as there have been a couple in the past that even take a cut off the $25!
