Madmaximus
I received a email from virtual Reward Center. It said I had a $500.00 reward from a survey I took with gongos, inc. I do surveys rarely do I actually earn anything. This email was addressed to my full correct name. I was the only one it was sent to. The reward is $500 virtual visa account. It gives me 365 days to redeem it. I’m given a code to paste in to activate and then I have 6 months to use it. it doesn’t say anything about which survey I did. It looks legit but $500?? I am looking for opinions…..what do you think?
NFriday
I just looked them up, and they are in Royal Oak, which is a suburb of Detroit. I would suggest maybe calling them up tomorrow. It is rare that you get $500 fir doing a market research panel, and it is especially troubling that you don't remember doing it. If I ever did a $500 panel, I would remember doing it. They usually only pay that much if you are hard to find, or if you are a doctor or dentist. Most doctors will not waste their time doing a $100 panel, but they might be interested if they are paid $500. The most I have ever been paid was $350 for a mock jury which was an all day thing, but once you do one of those, they usually don't want you again. They want fresh blood/ There was one panel that I applied for a few years ago that was going to pay me like maybe $3,000. You had to be there for the length of the trial, and you had to sit in on the whole trial, and then at the end of the day, you had to give your opinion about what went on during the trial. I did not get that one. You had to be there every day.

NFriday
I forgot that Gongos might be closed tomorrow because it is Labor Day. You might have to wait until Tuesday to call them. Is the email from Gongos or virtual reward center? When I get suspicious emails, like ones telling me that my account was closed because the bank denied payment. Then then ask me to send them info on a different account. I check to see who is sending the email

Hoover over the email address before you open it. Then send it to spam without opening it. Even If you think it's real don't click on the links. Just go directly to the site to heck your account.
