Branded Surveys..Is this company worth signing up for?

They just flipped over, and so I did not make it to 30 surveys.  I am probably going to get around $99 to cash out today.

I will add one further point on Branded. As I mentioned, a recent case where I did actually make the mistake of contacting Customer Service after completing 70% (49 out of 70 questions) and was awarded 10 out of 95 points, which Branded called "fair". I sent them an e-mail asking them three questions:

1) How late do you allow survey providers to reject surveys at Branded? Please give me concrete policy details here.
2) How do you come to the compensation rate when issues occur? For example how was it calculated that I would be awarded 10pts? Again, please give me concrete policy details here
3) Please can you explain how Branded Surveys partners not viewing a survey as completed at their end is any justification for Branded Surveys treating users so badly and not paying them an ethical return for their time and effort?

Not surprisingly they just refuse to answer these questions. Although if their policy was fair, I would have thought that it would be fairly open! :-D

Their response was as follows:

Quote

Our analysts base their decisions on the details provided in each report, and we’re unable to offer further specifics beyond what has already been shared.

Our support team is committed to assisting members with all concerns to the best of our ability, though we recognize that we may not always achieve complete satisfaction.

As previously noted, "when issues are reported, they do not count as a 'survey complete' with our partners. This means we do not receive compensation for these surveys, making it difficult to allocate the full points value for each issue."

We appreciate your understanding and patience with this process.

I am only putting this response here, as I always feel that you can learn so much from a company based on how they handle customer service. I can only imagine how long I would have lasted in a customer service job previously if I'd have taken the line, well we haven't been paid so we won't refund you! :-D It was my job to support the customer with their issues and then chase up suppliers. How times have changed. :-(

I would not have contacted CS over that.  Maybe if I finished the whole survey, and I was then told that I was not a good fit for the survey.  I just had a survey like that on Lifetime, where I thought the survey was ending, but then I got a message that the survey was not the right fit for me.  I had probably spent close to 30 minutes on the survey too.

I am so sorry  this happened to you. Also happened to one of my co-workers and my sister in the past month,. They were all members from back in the Mintvine days. So you are not alone in this. They got no explanation whatsoever, same as you described. Maybe they are getting rid of old members toi make room for new ones and it has nothing to do with your posts here? Unfortunately you will never really know why.

I was a "new member" & got banned before I could blink..that's the funny part..I didn't do anything wrong at all

This is beyond me!  Haven't  the slightest idea why you would get banned. Your comments here are rather benign and you are surely entitled to your opinion!

But you won't miss them. There are many sites out there that are much better.

So sorry you got banned.

Another area where Branded are very bad is late rejections. I mean this in the normal sense, but also, they are one of the few sites I know that deducts points from you a long time after the survey is complete (Crowdology being the only other site I use that does this). I have just had 105 points deducted for a survey I took over 2 weeks ago, which apparently was rejected. I once had one rejected over 3 months later. Of course there is no point of contacting customer service. Rather it is just something that I feel you have to accept will happen when you use the site.

I have taken Five Surveys for them this week that I totally finished and got two points for three and  one point for  two...I didn't qualify after wasting a LOT of time! Happens FAR too often to me and getting worse and worse.

Rejection after the fact is not uncommon with Branded. The strange thing is that it is never for a survey that has a lower point level,  always 105 or higher. Hmmm

Yes I agree. Anyone would think that they didn't want to honour their commitments.
