Does anybody here request any Albertson's GC as their reward?

If anybody here claims a grocery store GC for their reward, how do you receive it?  Is it send through email, or do they physically mail the card to you?  I won an Albertson's GC from Quaker back in December, and they sent it through email.  I tried to pull it up on my cellphone and scan it, and it would not scan. It also said you could print it out, and then scan it, and I tried that when I first got the card, and it would not scan. I still have $46 on the card.

I used to buy Safeway e-gift cards with my Amazon gift card balance. They would come through as an email for printout.  For them to work, I had to go through a regular checkout lane and have the cashier ring it up for me. Sometimes they didn't know how to ring it up and would call a manager for backup. It was complicated, and I didn't want to go through the hassle anymore.

I once had to select an Albertson's gift card because there were no better choices. It was delivered by email. I'm not sure you can scan it by yourself at a self checkout but if you go to a cashier, they should be able to scan it properly. There should be instructions on the card for how a cashier can ring it up and enter the code.
