"Drag And Drop"

Why do the dopes that write surveys insist on shoving "drag and drop" tasks down our throats!? That's just more time wasting game playing!!!!!

I have wondered also on the surveys that have 6 or more questions to check if you are human, what is it that makes them think with the final answer "O.K. they must be human, up until now it was in doubt, but that answer proves it!" :-D

I love the one that asks you to answer these (one) questions:

Are you male/female?

Then they ask you again. Like in case you weren't sure the first time.

Every time the thing says "You are human" I want to say "fooled you!"

Also the age..over and over again.. and after they ask you 2 times at the beginning, they may ask at the end..

Maybe they figure the surveys are so drawn out, we've aged

I had a great one this morning. The first question on the survey was "What is your gender?" After clicking on male, it said "It appears that you have already taken this survey". Clearly it needed to check my gender to realise this! :-D

I get disgusted with myself at times when dealing with that pre-screener. I don't mind the "drag and drop," what I mind is that I'll spend several minutes thinking about how to answer some serious-sounding questions such as "In what two ways would you deal with world hunger?"  Then I think, "Dumb idiot, just type something, it's not like they read and grade it!"

What I suspect they are looking for is 5+ words that look like a sentence.

As long as the sentence make sense I don't think they care what you write even if it doesn't pertain to the question

This is an example of what I'm talking about. In a survey about bandages, the idiots came up with a question that had no less than 22 drag and drops. I couldn't get a screen shot of it, I guess that the mutants didn't want it to be shown elsewhere, so here's part of it...........

Oh, yeah, I've had things like that. After a while, you have to do so much scrolling (up and down four or five screens worth each time) to get each piece into the proper square, I just quit.
