neminem
Oh ha, hi . I did one of your HITs a few months back, got an error message, haven't tried another one since, though I have seen them occasionally on /r/hwtf (I'm not always on a machine where I can do that sort of HIT; sometimes I'm at work, and they disappear pretty quick.) I will totally register and try that out. I do recall the one time I tried it, the hit tracking was still a little unreliable; hopefully it's gotten better since (I suppose I'll find out.) Congrats on opening your own thing instead of relying on mturk - that seems like a big step! edit: apparently you need to validate that your current machine supports the eye tracking, and I'm at work right now, too, so I guess I'll sign up when I get home, too.
neminem
Eew. I just signed up - the site itself looks super polished, then I finish the signup and find out you're using Cint for the survey backend? I have never had any good experiences with sites that send Cint surveys - error-prone and tend to pay just terribly. I'll give it a shot still, but that makes me a little less excited.

Yup, that is correct. Please let us know if something doesnt work! Eew. I have never had any good experiences with sites that send CINT surveys - error-prone and tend to pay just terribly. I'll give it a shot still, but that makes me a little less excited. Really? We have been using them for a while now and only had one issue so far. Around new years they did not send out payments in the promised time window of 14 days. If they are being unstable we will look into other alternatives. Thanks a lot for the feedback!
neminem
Well, as I said, I'll still give it a shot; totally don't dump them on my account until I've had a chance to try your version - it's likely just my experience having been colored by the fact that all the CINT-based sites I've tried have paid terribly, so then I remember they just stunk in other ways too, whereas, for instance, GTM is super buggy but I give them a break cause they pay half decent. I will certainly let you know if your site itself isn't mostly-working, once I start getting surveys from it.

habeascorpus
Hey there, Do you have a privacy policy up anywhere? I tried searching your site but wasn't able to find anything. I was curious to know what your data retention policies were, how long you keep the recorded videos, and if the recordings are used for any other purposes? Thanks. *edit - I found a link to a privacy policy on your site, but unfortunately it just links to a Cint error page. You may want to look into that.
