My Raves... and My Rants

As I'm getting more and more into survey taking (I should say back into it... took a couple of years off, and a lot has changed!)   I'm beginning to form solid opinions on the various survey sites, so I thought I'd share some of my thoughts.

My raves would include three places I've had such fun with and not a single problem... no, make that four. Mintvine, Opinion Outpost, and Survey Junkie.  Two I received quick payment for without any issues, and the third I'll be cashing out when a few surveys clear.  The fourth would be ICS just for my mental health breaks from work.

But then there's the rant.  I'm getting more and more annoyed with Ipsos.  A couple of years ago I loved that place.  Now .. not so much.  Yesterday I was doing a candy survey that just stopped at the end before crediting me and said oops, they had a technical problem.  This morning alone I did one for cosmetics that went on WAY too long before they decided I don't fit... grrrr.   And then right after that, one on frozen dinners that took me all the way to the point where it asked if I have a working microwave which usually indicates the end of a survey and maybe a product test.  But nope... again, suddenly I don't fit the demographics.

Wondering if this is the norm with Ipsos now... gather all the information about a respondent and then send the "sorry" screen out message?

That's not cool I haven't had that happen to me -did you write to them and complain? Not that it'll do much good, they are real bad about not answering but at least it's worth a shot.

Right now my only problem with them is that I cant get their site up and running on my end to check my points.

I didn't write this time, no.  I kind of figured it wouldn't do any good.  It's so easy for places to just say "you didn't fit what we were looking for" and I'm not sure that disputing it could changed anything.  Maybe I need to rethink my strategy on that, but so far I haven't complained to them, no.

The problem with the iSay site is that they are the king/queen of sites where if you don't qualify for one survey they try to qualify you for another. Which may involve multiple questions before you DQ out of one and they start the process all over again. Oh and how many times can you enter you zip code again and again and again. I hate Ipsos these days and their surveys. The never ending qualification is something they started maybe a year to year and half ago.

Yes I agree the zip code and who lives in your house is very old and monotonous.

I've gotten the oops thing. Yes they use to be great but seem to be going down hill. They are used in too many places now.
