We are seeking participants for a research study titled "Parent Perceptions of  School-Aged Students' Executive Functioning, Sleep Behaviors, Technology Use, Academics, and Parenting Styles.” The purpose of this study is to understand how your child’s technology use is related to their academics, sleep behaviors, executive function, and your parenting style. You are being asked to participate in this study because you are a parent of a school-aged student. Your responses are completely anonymous.

If you agree to be in this study, we will ask you to spend approximately thirty minutes of your time completing a collection of multiple-choice rating scales about your child, yourself, and your demographics. Rating scales vary in length and are related to sleep behaviors, technology use, executive functioning, and parenting style.

Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw at any time without penalty.

If you should have any questions about this research study (IRB ID: 16-2265) or possible injury, please feel free to contact Seth Marshall at (615) 898-2581 or [email protected]. You may also contact the Middle Tennessee State University Institutional Review Board at (615) 494-8918 with any questions or concerns.
