NevadaJones replied to episemion's topic in General Online Surveys Discussion
I've managed to do a few surveys this week, but I'm getting mostly closed surveys, too. -

Lifepoints closed surveys

Last few days , there have been 3-6 surveys listed , but all were "closed". Something seems amiss at the site as that never happened in the past. -

You can't be too careful. Maybe 15 years ago I started getting bogus charges on my American Express card, of all things. I don't know how anyone got that card info unless it was a new vendor I'd tried, and I didn't even use that card for the order. I found out Amex had a swift approval for new businesses and didn't check them out at all. I cancelled that card and never went back to them. Now it's much easier for crooks to get info on the internet. -

I was with them back in those days. In a "freshen the panel" phase about 10 years ago , I was removed. No loss. It had started to go downhill by then. -

I see that from time to time. Unless it is at the end of the survey and I feel OK with it , I always either "x" out or use the opt out if there is one available. -
I know I have complained about MyPoints for quite some time and I kept going back to try try again. But recently I had them stiff me twice on things, like the Bingo board, they stiffed me out of 650 points, and then I purchased something through their site, and no credit for points on that. That one has happened time and time again. So I cashed out yesterday for a GC and I have 5 points left in my account. I am not going back and as soon as I get the GC, I am deleting them off of my system. I feel good about not spending a lot of time trying to make a few cents.

I went through a phase of it saying I wasn't qualified to take it and then I would wait a moment and try again, maybe I would get in and maybe I wouldn't. I don't get much from them anymore. I remember the days of you were basically pre-approved and they paid $5 for each survey. -

I had one like that last week and I did comply and was dq'd, of course, and by golly, I received a call early this week from a survey company asking me to call them to do an online survey. Noooooo, thank you. Thought you weren't going to use it for anything. Never said you might be calling or selling it to someone who would call. -

I made a ticket help a third time and I was told that a developer will take a look. Two days later, that is now, my balance is back. So are the surveys !

What Do You Think of the Latest From Tellwut?

Quite honestly I don't like it. I like taking the polls. They are a lot more fun than taking surveys that pretty much kicks you out every time you take one. -

Did anyone do a Fortright survey from the University of Conneticut?
NFriday posted a topic in Rants and Raves
I just completed a survey with Fortright from the University of Connecticut that took me forever to complete, and they had me copy all of the long rows of numbers and letters. I did 31 of them, and I was supposed to get ten cents for each one I got right, and so I was supposed to get $3.10, and then get $1.50 for answering the first set of questions. I only received $1.50. It took me over one hour to complete it. Do not do this survey. -

The mutants have given me that message many times, but only at the beginning of the survey. -

Allow a bit more time as it is a weekend. The ticket may not have been seen yet. It is now Tuesday.. no response from Paid Viewpoint.. I think I will contact them again. I know that my request went through the last time because the ticket shows Today on site noticed I received a huge credit- wasn't expecting that but satisfied.. Good to know they are still a site with integrity

This is a new one to me. After completing a rather long and complicated survey with a few videos to watch, I came to the end of the survey. I was thanked for participating and THEN go the message above. This has never happened to me before, receiving this particular message at the end of a survey. I've gotten it at the beginning and midway through ( erroneous) buy never at the end. Have you ever experienced this.? Guess it is another way NOT to pay us.
