RoundTuit
This site quite simply, doesn't want to pay. First they tell you that you won't be credited for surveys for 6 - 8 weeks and never DO credit you without an extensive email battle back and forth. First, they send you an email (a week after you complain) telling you that it takes 6-8 weeks for credit to be given, even though you told them in your complaint it was already more than 8 weeks. You email them again and tell them this, and in another week or so you get an email asking which surveys. If you respond that ALL your "pending" surveys are over 8 weeks, in a week or so, you receive an email asking which specific ones. After replying with a complete list of every "pending" survey, in a week or two, they all get approved except a few which mysteriously disappear with no explanation. So now you've got enough points to cash out. Yippee! You should have your money in 6-8 weeks. You submit your request (Paypal cashout) and wait 8 weeks and nothing. You email them... "It's been over 8 weeks, where's my money?" and in about a week you get a reply telling you it takes 6 to 8 weeks to process your payment. You email them back and tell then it's been over 8 weeks and in another week or so, you get a response saying they're sorry, but they notified accounting to put you "at the head of the line". It's very crowded at the head of the line, so weeks later, still no money. If you like to be lied to, stalled, cheated, ACOP is the place for you. If not, don't even waste your time. footfree
Plus if you go on vacation and don't do one of their surveys in the week you are gone they will deactivate your account. They did mine and I'm happy to be gone.I will not do surveys for any company who treats me badly. And yes they were doing this same thing 4 years ago. Not-a-Sucker
Thanks for reminding me. I have two outstanding at 9 and 7 weeks. Time to start e-mailing them (again).
flapanther87
if you go on the site now it says theres a new payment process which is 30 days to verify then 6-8 weeks to pay ...
calafan
I agree ACOP is a pain in the neck to deal with, but I must say they do eventually pay. I find it worth the waiting because I often get surveys for 300 or 400 points(equal to $3 or $4) that can be completed in 10 minutes or less. When you calculate in all the time spent getting surveys you completed "approved" and then all the time emailing back and forth to collect your payment, dealing with ACOP pays about 3 cents per hour. I can walk down my street and pick up 3 pennies from the ground in far less than an hour and get far less aggravation. Why deal with people that make it so obvious that they are trying their best to cheat you?

It really doesn't matter much what they "say". They've proven time and time again to be liars. Why would anyone in their right mind believe them?
nlbtma04
They are a pain in the neck having to wait a looooong time but when they do pay it's worth it. I'm still waiting for my $104 dollar check from them since May 11th.

calafan
If you take a long term approach to this I still find it worth dealing with ACOP. In 4 years I have never been stiffed for a completed survey on ACOP, which I cannot say is true of many other sites.
nlbtma04
good luck... i'm waiting for a whopping $10 from april 14 lol I did email them last week asking about the check. Someone from some department email me telling me that they would "personally" talk to the accounting department to have it sent out ASAP. Well yesterday I checked my ACOP account and it said that my check was paid so now I have to wait for it to arrive.

I finally realized that you have to plan out 4 month in advance when you want your check. I also wonder if you send it through paypal if that's any faster.
