NFriday
One of my sisters sent me an email she got from Medicare about programs that allow you to get internet or phone coverage for less money. One was called affordable connectivity, and requires you to be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, and the other one is Lifeline, which requires you to be at 135% of the federal poverty level. These are both federal programs. Does anybody belong to either one of these? I am interested in saving on my internet. I have att for both my internet and landline. Because I have both of my accounts at att, I get a discount, and so if I switch to a different internet provider, I am afraid that my landline rate is going to go up. You are also eligible for these programs if you have SSI, WIC, or several other programs.
