NFriday Posted March 13 Report Share Posted March 13 I am interested in using my Amazon GC to get an Apple watch. I would prefer a Apple 8 or 9 because of the heart monitor capabilities. I currently have an Apple SE phone that I purchased two years ago, and it is still working for me. I do not get a new phone until I have to. From what I understand my phone will not work with an Apple 8 or 9 watch. Does that mean that I will have to get a new Apple iphone, or can I use the watch without setting it up to the iphone? NFriday Posted March 14 Author Report Share Posted March 14 I did some further searching, and I found out that you have to at least have an Apple 8 phone in order to set up your Apple watch, and so it looks like it won't work with my SE phone.
