No Computer Activity

I received an email from a survey site that I belong to. They asked me to download tracking software

and if I kept it on my computer for 15 days I would receive a $20 prepaid credit card.

So, despite the slowness of my internet, I kept the software then after 15 days removed it

then emailed the company asking when I would receive my reward.

They verified my participation and said I would get my card in March.

I emailed them in March, and they said the end of March.

Last Friday, I took a survey and it said congrats you completed the program

and would qualify for the card and would receive it shortly.

I emailed them on Monday asking the where abouts of the card

and they replied this to me on Tuesday:

The first email stated that I hadnt kept the software on my computer long enough

and they gave the dates of 01.12 and 01.27

I emailed them back stating that 27-12 IS 15 days!

Then they wrote back and said that 5 of the 15 days showed no computer

activity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ????????????????????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I do family research and sell on Ebay, I am on the computer, it seems, 24/7

I emailed them a copy of my computer event log for the month of January

copies of my facebook and ebay activities, and copies of my temp internet

files showing activities for the 15 days

and dumbly enough, copies of confirmed surveys that I completed for

their site during the month of January

So, how do they say no activity for 5 days, its ludicrous!

They refuse to answer me, so I am not sure what to do

I dont thinks its right that they tracked my activity for 15 days

and then failed to pay me.

Any ideas??

Plain and simple BBB and make a report to ripoff

Go to the BBB and I would advise not to let companies add tracking devices to your computer.Especially if you have any sensitive info on it like bank accounts, credit card accounts and all that.You never know when a employee of theirs might get disgruntled with the company and steal that info to use for their own gains.

I reported the company to BBB and their state's Consumer Affairs, and Internet fraud.

I just heard back from another company, who I have been a member with since 2004.

They continually come back with, "Our client doesnt have record of you completing the survey"

or "your ID wasnt captured" So, we cant give you credit.

They do it every month to me, so I have been taking a screen shot of the last screen that

states my completion and captured ID, documenting the time it took me for completion, as

well as the subject matter.

One company always accepts my challenge and they will give me credit, but this particular

company wont budge. Do they think I am making this up, why would I lie for a dollar or 2?

And guess what, after I forwarded all of the above information to them, they refuse to credit me ..

Over time, its like what 20 bucks, 20 hours of my time lost that I am not being compensated for.

So, now I get to report them as well.

I am not sure how my ID doesnt get captured, or how a record of my completion

is not kept or how it gets lost; but it shouldnt error on my side.

Is this a continuing theme for other survey members??
