Pinecone Email Solicitations

I got an email a few days ago claiming to be from PineCone Research. Do they really recruit in this manner or should I just delete it?

What was the email address it was sent from?

FYI: They have a security warning on their website saying to watch out for a scam and that they are aware of a 3rd party soliciting under their name.

"If you are targeted by any of these scams, please report any information regarding these activities to local law enforcement agencies, as well as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) "econsumer.gov" reporting system (https://econsumer.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/) in the United States or the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre (http://www.phonebusters.com/) in Canada."

Here is Pinecones website http://www.pineconeresearch.com/ at the bottom of the home page click on the contact us. It will pull up a FAQ page. At the top of the page will be a link saying "Send us a Email". Click on that and send them a email about the one you got. They are good at getting back to people, so you should have a reply by the end of the week. Like Abby63 said "They have a security warning on their website saying to watch out for a scam and that they are aware of a 3rd party soliciting under their name.", I have a feeling that is what it is. So I would NOT suggest clicking on the link to the email that was sent, go to there main sight and contact them!
