does anyone know about Research Participants Institute

Is anyone familiar with or done any work for RPI? I got a call today from a representative from their company and they want to do an in person survey. First of all, I don't know how they got my number as I am not registered with them. Secondly, the number they called was my cell phone which I don't give out as a contact number. I have searched the internet for references for this company and to find out if it is legitimate but am not having much luck. There is little information available. I'm happy to go do their panel but would like to know if it's legitimate first. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.
