what is is with some of surveys?

have many of you had this problem with some of these surveys that when you get into it a bit and then all of a sudden they ask what kind of school teacher you were? I mean right out of the blue they ask this, with nothing leading up to that! what gives with these people?

Some of these are you paying attention questions just strike me as idiotic. "Computers are laptops. 3 dogs jumped over the fence. How many dogs jumped over the fence?" Umm. 3? The question is on its own page and if you've taken this site's surveys before it pops right out at you. One could go on and on.

I was taking one the other day and all of a sudden it was asking me what my capacity of IT was in my company. I sat here stunned. I just had to click out of it before I had to lie.
