katherine_uon Posted January 11, 2015 Report Share Posted January 11, 2015 Hello, My name is Katherine and for my third year project as an undergraduate psychology student I am looking at the relationship between impulsivity, planning and affect regulation in non-suicidal self-injury (harming oneself on purpose without wanting to die). From this research I hope that professionals can gain an understanding of the variables that affect how self-injury alters our emotions. The survey will not ask about personal triggers, but about how you feel before and after the act. If you are 18 years or older, you are eligible for the study. Approved by the Ethics Committee at the University of Northampton. The survey is also for those who have never self-injured.
