I study Hospitality Management, specialising in Tourism. This survey is a part of my Bachelor’s Thesis project, and I need your help! The purpose of this survey is to examine a traveller who prefers a hostel as a mean of accommodation. For my thesis I will create a profile for a hostel’s common customer, and find out the importance of communality in a hostel, from the traveller’s point of view. The purpose of my thesis is to help hostels develop their marketing and their services, with the knowledge gathered in the survey. The survey has 15 multiple-choice questions with one open question, and takes about 5 minutes to complete. Business-travel is excluded from the survey.
