Hear what Opinion Square did with my gift card

So I cashed in, got a gift card so I could give it as a gift and when I receive it the back was scratched off.They sent a card with it saying they did this on purpose wrote down the info in case there was any problems.Something tells me people have tried to rip them off with the gc and this is what they have to do to cover their backs.Since I'm giving it to my daughter no problems but I would have a hard time explaining it to someone else.Like what if I wanted to give it as a gift for a baby shower or something? Just be warned if you order one from them and intend to give it as a gift this will happen to you.

That is totally weird, I have never heard of someone doing that. I thought it had to be scratched off when you used it? I don't understand the scratch off code stuff, but if you can still use the card, I guess it's OK.
