Sticky Crowd is leveling up (Make up to $20/month just for looking at your screen)

Sticky is starting to push more traffic to our Sticky Crowd. Starting now we will slowly but surely move over our daily use from Amazon’s mechanical turk over to our new panel. This move will take time but the sooner you get on the train the better!

So, what is Sticky Crowd?

It is an exclusive panel through which you can earn money just by looking at content while your eyes are anonymously tracked - short experiences, very few survey questions, easy and fun!

↪ Age minimum: 18
↪ Country: US Only (wait list for other countries)
↪ Offers: Eye tracking surveys (webcam only, no mobile)
↪ Payout: Amazon and Paypal ($0.40-0.90 / a minute or two)
↪ How: Subscribe to the email list and take the surveys as they get emailed to you.

TIPS

‌• Sit still and, if possible, remove your glasses for best results.
‌• We are the same company that is known from mturk with TO:A1I5WZRIXY5GS9
‌• This is a new system and we develop it according to your feedback, so please let us know what you like, dislike and want to see by emailing us at crowd[at]sticky.ad
• We will open up for more countries in time, to be on the list simply head over to the web page and fill out the form.

Oh ha, hi :). I did one of your HITs a few months back, got an error message, haven't tried another one since, though I have seen them occasionally on /r/hwtf (I'm not always on a machine where I can do that sort of HIT; sometimes I'm at work, and they disappear pretty quick.) I will totally register and try that out. I do recall the one time I tried it, the hit tracking was still a little unreliable; hopefully it's gotten better since (I suppose I'll find out.)

Congrats on opening your own thing instead of relying on mturk - that seems like a big step!

edit: apparently you need to validate that your current machine supports the eye tracking, and I'm at work right now, too, so I guess I'll sign up when I get home, too.

Eew. I just signed up - the site itself looks super polished, then I finish the signup and find out you're using Cint for the survey backend? I have never had any good experiences with sites that send Cint surveys - error-prone and tend to pay just terribly. I'll give it a shot still, but that makes me a little less excited. :P

Yup, that is correct. Please let us know if something doesnt work!

Really? We have been using them for a while now and only had one issue so far. Around new years they did not send out payments in the promised time window of 14 days.

If they are being unstable we will look into other alternatives. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Well, as I said, I'll still give it a shot; totally don't dump them on my account until I've had a chance to try your version - it's likely just my experience having been colored by the fact that all the Cint-based sites I've tried have paid terribly, so then I remember they just stunk in other ways too, whereas, for instance, GTM is super buggy but I give them a break cause they pay half decent. I will certainly let you know if your site itself isn't mostly-working, once I start getting surveys from it.

We are now proudly launching our new product, which is on the requester side of the platform. This means the more acknowledgement we receive, more customers sign up which leads to more HITs and surveys sent out on the platform.

We need your help to spread the word as much as possible, we are featured on Product Hunt so please check us out there. Go to https://www.producthunt.com/ and search for “Sticky Insight" to read more, share our news and/or comment.

Also, if you have not yet signed up for the Sticky Crowd. Don’t hesitate to do so. Link is available through Product Hunt.

Thanks everyone

No More Flash

You asked and we listened! After several requests, we are finally ready to phase out Flash and start using the more stable HTML5 recorder.  Now you no longer need to install flash on your browser, hopefully making your life a little bit easier ;)

If you have any questions, comments or feedback regarding Sticky, please email us at crowd@sticky.ad or DM us here at the site.

Have a great week!
Sticky Team

Hey there,

Do you have a privacy policy up anywhere? I tried searching your site but wasn't able to find anything.  I was curious to know what your data retention policies were, how long you keep the recorded videos, and if the recordings are used for any other purposes?  Thanks.

*edit - I found a link to a privacy policy on your site, but unfortunately it just links to a Cint error page. You may want to look into that.
