JB1977
I am new to doing surveys and I'm very excited about it. I do have a question....do you have to claim the money you make on your taxes?
Vipercat
The short answer is no, you do not. The more detailed info is that you have to claim taxes if you make more than $600 in one year from a single company, in which case that survey company will simply stop paying you for surveys until you fill out the info. There is no case that I know of where someone has made more than $600 in one year from a single survey, ptc, ptw, or other online company, so in all practicality the answer is always no under $600 per company per year. Do not volunteer any information or pay unnecessary taxes unless you are forced to by the IRS and it's worth it. Also never give your credit card, bank info, or social security number to any company online related to surveys or taxes.
