    Yesterday, something amazing happened. You will not believe me when I write this. I qualified, completed & actually got paid for a SAMPLE CUBE survey! Yes, you did read that correctly, there is nothing wrong with your eyes. I normally just click them off when they come up but this time for some reason I just did it. They are still useless but I just thought I would let you lot know that miracles do happen. HA HA

    Folks, I would like to start a discussion for a Panelist Bill of Rights. This is because The conduct of the Survey and Marketing industry has is in serious deterioration and a decline that seriously impacts panelists. A bill of rights is not about getting a favored position, that's what negotiations are for. This is about how we are treated uniformly. Also Professional Survey Company and Marketing organizations are woefully inadequate for the Panelist. There are panels that cheat panelists with impunity. Here're some topics that I think would be relevant, this is not in any particular order, there are probably multiple categories besides rights here. I imagine Y'all have many more 1) Tell us when it's a survey or a router. 2) complete screening up front or pay a proportional fee the longer it takes to screen out, including full price if screened out at exit. 3) Surveys must have abort provisions, and when we quit, a selection list why it was aborted. 4) Show us our complete survey history, completed, screened out, aborted and missed. 5) Tell us up front the organization that the survey is for. Some survey companies are terrible, and we want to not undertake for any price. 6) Minimal trackers, tell us which ones are being used and pay us a share for the ones producing revenue. 7) Agglomerate our own multi-point reporting system based on the value, support, integrity, payout and so forth and publish it. 8] develop a Survey Persona and reputation system so panels are less dependent on CAPTCHA and other bot barriers 9) Access to all our "rewards" that have been earned. 10) when an account is restricted because of TOS/TOC violations, state the infraction, the relevant section(s) and remediation process, Don't just send the whole TOC document, that's FU support. 11) Is the survey it a single topic or an Omnibus survey

    I had this thought the other day when I was cashing out from a survey site. What do y'all do with your survey earnings? I usually spend mine. Well, sort of. I wait until I have big PayPal balance ($50 or more), then I transfer that to my bank account. From there it somehow always disappears, but that's another story. With any gift cards I get, I try to spend them on things I actually need or would be buying anyway, like food. I've heard of some people transferring their cash to retirement accounts. Not that taking surveys is enough to retire from but I guess the point being that some people save their cash for a rainy day. What do y'all do?

    I had one that did that, too. In the description of the study, it said if you had already taken a study from this researcher before you were ineligible to do another. I can't possibly recall all the surveys I do and from who (whom?), and I'm too lazy to go back through all my completed studies, so I tried it anyway and got the ineligible message.

    And just when I thought I might not get as many invites, I got a bonus of .29 for one of the surveys. So I guess I am alright. But I only got them yesterday, nothing for today. It's a weekend.

    I've been a member of FreshLabs for a months and I've yet to receive a survey that pays outright. The incentives are only for a chance to win or a pre-qualifier for a project that will pay. I actually qualified for a project after a long screener, but I was never contacted about it. They've been sending an invite for this one survey for almost 2 weeks. I guess they weren't getting enough responses because they started putting 'Increased Incentive' in the subject line. How about the "increased incentive" was just an increase on the amount of money to be won. The trolling doesn't stop there, I received an email the other day with the subject line "Don't Forget to Take Our Survey for a Reward." A chance to win isn't a real reward. ETA: I just received an invite to another community about a popular children's app. They want me to download the app, which costs $7.99 a month. Participation in the community pays UP TO $10 per month. These companies cannot be serious!

    Agree about One Opinion. More and more they offer the "varies" surveys. I'm not doing any that do not tell me "how much" and "how long."

    Depending on the amount I transfer from paypal to my bank right away. I let amazon build up until I have enough to buy things, especially to get the free shipping. Sites where they send checks I let it build up to at least $20 before cashing out.Up until a year ago this was my only income so most of my earnings went to necessities, now I can get a few wants.

    I got the email too, but I think it is illegal not to allow everyone to cash out now. If you earned less than 3000 credits, they will hold your earned money hostage. Otherwise, they were a fun survey company and it was easy to earn with them. No DQs and they had questions every day that didn't take more than 5 min of my time. Another good one bites the dust. The only easy big earners I have left now are Prolific, MTurk, and Paidviewpoint. All the others just suck.

    I guess my email to Lifepoints got to them since this morning Amazon.ca is back on their rewards site...maybe I wasn't the only one who complained... Cash out! yes!

    Yep. I'm pretty sure that's what is happening. I too have been getting invites from companies I didn't join on my own. And I've never heard of Opinion Community Surveys either.

    I just had the unpleasant task of unbloking ny account on the One Poll site. It seems that if you use a VPN they will block your account and not reopen it until you prove that you are a real person either with a license or a passport. I have been doing surveys with them for a long time and this is a first. I just wanted to warn you all about using VPNs and some survey sites view them as bots.

    I hate the JD Power surveys. you spend time filling them out, honestly, take the time and then they disqualify you. I will never do another one of their surveys again. I don't think I've ever gotten points for doing one.

    Has any one noticed today they had the same survey listed 10 or11 times? The " Genomic privacy online evaluation tool " I didn't like the survey. After I took it they sent another email to take it, I thought it would be different , it wasn't. They only change they made was putting the attention check answer on a different line. I also noticed they gave the same completion code. I wonder If you get paid for all of them if you do them. Also has anyone noticed the they sometimes shortchange 1point or cent or whatever you would call it? I haven't written them yet because I have to go through the surveys and match them to the emails that approved the points to see how much they owe me

    It has been at least a year I think. This one wasn't the usual $25 but only $5. However, it was short and I got the Amazon code right after. Did anyone else get it? I was a few days ago.

    Exactly! Same for the Qualtrics one where they ask you about at least 40 companies , brands , or sport teams that opens and ends with political questions (always identical). The middle differs a little each time , but gets tedious.

    Awesome post, thanks for posting this! Another point I thought of was these survey companies shouldn’t have links where it just appears you are agreeing to do a survey, but get redirected to sign up for another panel! I hate it when that happens. I’ll X right out. You won’t get any money for doing these, believe me I’ve tried. Another point would be that the panelist should be able to tell the survey company they’re signed up for that they want to be blocked from certain partner survey companies. These survey companies should prescribe so that if there is someone, e.g. Peanut Labs that you don’t want to get partner surveys from, they should block you from getting any of those. It is a pet peeve of mine that these companies want you to fill out all kinds of profile questions, and then they list surveys from partner sites that you have to re screen all over for.

    Takes too long to get to 25.00 and the closer you get to 25.00 the slower the surveys come. I went though two cash outs and have now abandoned them. There are too many others that have lower thresholds for cash outs and surveys that are easier to qualify for. They also locked me out at one point too. Had to e-mail several times to get reinstated.

    After waiting the usual eons to get points approved, on May 11 they finally approved me for $75. You can't claim that exact amount so I put in for a $50 Tango Card and a $25 Tango Card. Boom, suddenly my pointblank "points approved" registered a negative number, minus 23,000+. When I asked about it, via Facebook messenger, I got a message saying they were aware of the issue and for the time being, please keep taking surveys as usual. They didn't fix it so I brought the matter up again. Then I received a long, convoluted message, the gist of which is they made a mistake (though they couched the fact in a flood of verbiage and offered no apology). Well, okay, but again we see that they are just not proactive with communications. It should not be possible for a member to log on and find their points are in the red. Eventually, they revoked the $25 Tango card and now I have a positive number. It really is sad that they have reduced their survey payouts to a pittance. I swore to myself that I would never stay with a survey site that routinely paid less than 50 cents for a survey, but now 34 pennies is typical on Pointclub. They have so many surveys listed; is it really possible that they themselves are not being fairly remunerated? If so, I am sad for them, but I wish they'd be more forthcoming with us for the sake of keeping our loyalty. And I HAVE been loyal, I've praised Pointclub to the max here and elsewhere. I hope they can restore their old luster.

    Oh they didn't run out..they would've told me if they did...just some clown removed the reward for some reason...I'm guessing that 3/4 of the people here in Canada use Amazon on Lifepoints...usually they hit up the $10 amazon reward which is 1100 reward points...what happened 2 days ago was the only rewards that they had on the site to redeem for were over 2800 points to redeem for which would take forever now with the amount of surveys that they're dishing out...so they figure.."hey let's just get rid of the easy $10 Amazon" that way we don't have to worry about people cashing out during the pandemic & it's going to take the survey takers alot longer to cash out...so I guess everyone here emailed them & complained as to where Amazon had vanished to & all of the sudden it's back up on the site...a great way for a company to save right now during these times...smart but not cool for us survey takers
