  1. I'm so frustrated. I've had just about enough with these survey sites. Some background. I've been taking surveys on and off, since about 2014, not very long. Even though I work full time, I have some time on my hands most weeknights, as my hubby is retired, and he gives me time to just veg out before hanging out with him a little. So I thought, since I love Amazon, am an avid reader, and have a Kindle app on my Ipad and smart phone, I'd join up with survey sites that offer Amazon gift cards. I realize I'm not gonna get rich or make oodles of cash, but a little extra would help support my Amazon habit. Paypal works too, because then I can use that for anything, including my love of ITunes. So I focused mainly on the top 20 survey sites listed on here. At one point, I think I got carried away and was a member of 25-30 survey sites. I was bombarded with emails, mostly of surveys I didn't qualify for. Then I couldn't keep up with the emails, and just stopped taking any surveys for several months. I got back into it recently, this time being a member of 8-10 sites. I was very selective, again choosing among the top 20 listed on here. Then the crap started. One site (in the top 10 at that) referred me to another survey site that turned out to be an awful site. That seemed to be the only way I could get any points. I certainly didn't get any surveys that I qualified for. Another site sent me emails where I clicked on the survey link and immediately was told I disqualified before I could even answer any questions. I'm well aware that one has to respond timely when an email is sent, because surveys fill up. I can only do surveys at night, don't have time during the day as I'm at work. I check my email every single night and respond as quickly as I can. Then there was a site that wanted me to install an app on my PC, Ipad, and smart phone. I had misgivings, but it said, it wouldn't effect anything. Unfortunately that turned out to be completely false. I wound up uninstalling the app off everything, and then got a nasty email. I immediately unsubscribed. I realize I'm not the most patient person, but some of the stuff going on is absolutely appalling and ridiculous. I read many of the posts on the forums here, and think some of you are the most patient people on the planet, the things you put up with. It makes me shake my head and smile in admiration at your forebearance. The level of customer service is horrid at most places it seems. I am now down to three survey sites, and if I don't get satisfaction from one of them regarding a problem I'm having with cashing out my points, it may be down to two. I am so over these places and how awful they treat survey takers. Yep, I realize we're a dime a dozen to them, but it's still sad and pathetic that they get away with this kind of stuff. Sorry I wrote a book. I'm pretty much done with the whole shebang. Kudos to you all who continue to hang in there.

  2. Here's a good laugh - I used to go in and try EVERY iPoll survey listed on my dashboard - sometimes 20 or more offerings. If I was lucky, I MIGHT get $1.00's worth of credit but usually not even that much. Awhile back, I got tired of the DQ's and just basically walked away from iPoll (with $12 in my account but doubting I'd ever get enough to cash out). Now, every time I check my email, I have anywhere from 2-6 emails from iPoll, BEGGING me to do their surveys. Well, do I need to tell you what happens when I click on the invites? Yup, I get DQed. Talk about a site doing dirty by their members! lol
