  6. The points could have been from a survey that offered additional points that weren't awarded at the time. I had additional points too today. I remember the my telco update survey offered additional points that weren't awarded at the time.

  7. I know, it really doesn't make sense. For your bank issue, they were probably trying to make money and charge you an insufficient funds fee. I had a bank try to do that to me in the 90's. I paid a bill and deposited the funds 15 minutes later. I didn't pay and didn't put anymore money in that bank. They shouldn't have paid if the money wasn't there or they could have waited to process it.

  8. As long as I've been with them I mostly cash out just 300 points. Most of the time I need that $3.00 right away. When I don't have an immediate need I let it build up. They haven't complained.

  12. I usually cash out at $20 each time.Which would leave me having a extra 100 each time. However this time I got caught up and they don't owe my anything as I have a 0 balance. I don't know know maybe it's me but I think if I were to cash out at $3.00 every time they may boot me.I guess what I should have said is the longer you accumulate the points and let the roll over points add up then you will get to the next cash out pay level even quicker the next time.Hope that makes since.

  13. It really seems like surveys are on a downward spiral.

  14. Correct. The points at Pinecone are simply worth a penny a point (100 = $1.00). Since there is no charge for Paypal , it matters not how many you cash out. When I was still with them , cash out for the US site was in $3.00 units as you state. Not sure what the units are for Canada. Where money is lost is in cashing out via check. But , the money lost is on the Pinecone side , not the user's. That was one reason they changed to allowing you to accumulate points and cash out all at once - mailing for one check vs, many checks.

  15. Congrats! They kicked me out or suspended me earlier this year, the reason, they said I cashed out more than I was owed. I don't understand, if the amount was in my account why wouldn't I cash it out. If it was a mistake it was theirs.

  16. Now it seems they aren't even paying for follow up surveys of product tests. I had a product test last week. the follow up survey came from some place other than oneopinion with no mention of rewards and a reward didn't show up on oneopinion.

  17. How do I report all the earnings I made on survey site for taxes? Every panel I’m in I’ve earned less than $600 but if I combined all the panel earnings I made over $600 and they all go to my paypal. I want to report all my earnings even though they are less than $600 per panel how do I do that? I just want to be safe. Or since I made less than $600 I don’t need to file taxes?

  18. Fun fact maybe- I was told if you buy something online from another state and they have a different tax amount then you are supposed to report the difference to the IRS and pay for the difference.I wonder how many people know about this? Consumers May Be Required to Report and Pay Sales or Use Taxes For consumers that order tax-free items online, but live in states that charge a sales tax, they are technically required to report that purchase to their state tax agency and pay the sales tax directly to the agency. When consumers are required to do so, it is often called a "use" tax. The sole difference between a sales tax and a use tax is the person that ends up giving the money to the state government. When it is a sales tax, the retailer is the one handing over the money, while a use tax is handed over directly by the consumer. However, collecting use taxes on small purchases often costs more than simply letting the consumer not pay the use tax. Instead, state tax agencies try to focus more on collecting use taxes for big ticket items that are purchased online with no sales tax, such as cars and boats. Be aware, there are a number of states that have stepped up their enforcement of their use tax laws and are now trying to make their state residents pay the taxes that should be paid.

  20. Just got one asking if I was from Portland area I said no.Which they should know - but like you said it's a easy 50 points. Also are you getting a lot of surveys with points levels that are strange?Like I just got one for 1510 or it could be for 2345 just odd numbers .I'm like are these real numbers or made up ones - it's not like I ever qualify for these odd point surveys.

  22. You do need to file taxes. You need to file taxes even if you only earned a dollar from survey sites, if you earned enough from other things. The $600 thing is that if you didn't earn at least $600 from a given single site, then that site doesn't have to report it (so they probably won't, because it'd be more work for them and they aren't required to), which means plenty of people also don't bother reporting it, because the chance of getting caught is negligible, but you are still absolutely supposed to. You'd file it as self-employment. I'm not a tax person, but I doubt the IRS really cares if you split it up into individual sites or not - you could probably just say it was self-employment, and the job was "taking surveys" or something. (But again, I'm not a tax expert.)

  23. I don't do my own taxes however I think it would be filed under "earned income". If memory serves right isn't there a part on the tax form that ask if you have received money from different entities like Social Security or Medicaid ?Wouldn't it be added on to that part of the form? Then I think you should be able to Google the info to.

  26. I recently downloaded this app because I saw it mentioned in this online article featuring this year's best new apps that pay you. It also has good reviews in the app store. It is basically another GPT platform. However, you do get 10 coins for logging in and watching a 25 second video each day (every 24 hours). You also get 70 coins just for joining. You can earn between 35-60 coins just for downloading new apps and games, even if you delete them later. They pay you instantly in "coins". I have not seen any actual surveys on there yet. It seems that once you reach 1500 coins, you can cash out for $15 paypal.

  27. UPDATE: This is an app, so there is no link. The app is called Big Cash. However, I just saw they raised the minimum amount of coins from 1500 to 2500 in order to cash out for $15 Paypal. It is just not worth it considering you can only really count on earning 10 coins per day for opening the app and watching a boring 20 second video. Also, a WARNING, I tried downloading one of the apps they offered 30 coins just to try, and I started getting all these Virus alerts on my phone. Therefore I do Not recommend this app. There does seem to be several apps out there now that offer money for doing different things. My favorites are On The Go, 1Q, and Panel App. If anyone else has had good experience with any other apps that actually pay, please share.
