  1. I used to get one that would ask "What city is closest to you" with the choices of Virginia or California. Huh??

  5. I’ll usually just select other and write my answer in. There are ones that don’t have “retired” for a choice. If it has an “other” choice and somewhere to write, I’ll write (in all caps) RETIRED. That’ll usually get me booted out, because more than likely, they only wanted people who work for those surveys anyway. If there’s no other choice, I’ll just X out or skip the survey.

  7. Had 2 odd ones this morning. Has anyone else noticed these recently what city do you live in (the 50 states were listed to choose from) what is your race...everything but Caucasian/white was listed (wound up choosing "other")

  8. Been getting nothing but blank "Demographic" screens from them on Survey Junkie and Vandale, after months of their surveys working all right. Have messaged both sites about the problem, but it's out of their hands apparently. It's SC's problem. Update: as of 12/20, they're still shooting blanks. Nothing. Nada. Even clicking on the logo goes nowhere.

  9. I looked it up. Didn't take the time to read all of the posts but I do remember Paypal mentions it on their site. This has a bunch of explanations. Thanks a lot for replying, Nevada! https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&sxsrf=ACYBGNQr-rbe76Y3dAjGvp1d-URWsDdUFw:1576871997213&q=paypal+exchange+rate+fee&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiw8__5gcXmAhXjdd8KHYDODDQQ1QIoAnoECA4QAw&biw=1280&bih=651

  11. Prolific doesn't charge for converting to USD because they don't convert the currency...you get paid by Prolific in GBP or whatever. PayPal charges a fee for the conversion I think. I should know because I've cashed out from Prolific to PayPal many times, but I don't pay much attention to details.

  13. Sorry, you've reached your temporary redemption limit for this reward." Wonder how long "temporary" is? I believe its 30 days between redemptions of the same item. That happened to me in I think October and as soon as Nov rolled around I could redeem for more hotel points. But in Nov I was able to redeem more than once on the same hotel program odd reply about some rewards not being provided through my 'enrollment provider'. Long long time ago with e-rewards choice hotels points was listed but I couldn't redeem it & it turned out that other countries could redeem for choice points but not usa (that has since changed) Something to consider some of the hotel programs do offer redemptions for other than hotel nights. If you have family that travel you can redeem for a gift card to that chain vs a free night or I have redeemed for i think for either amazon or paypal (this was years ago & the point to reward ratio may not be as good as other sites but it is an option)

  14. Agreed, if the question seems messed up, I'll write something in when given that option, or just go with the logical choice. So even if it asks for a city with a list of states, I just pick my state. Sometimes I'll get ones that ask for my zip code, then give a list of cities no where near me and they ask which I live closest to.

  15. Cliche - I just checked their site, did a refresh and the magazines are back on. This was just a few minutes ago. I'm with you, Paypal and Amazon would be a welcome change.

  16. If I see one more question like this: I pursue a life of novelty and change, I'm going to run screaming down the road. It actually insults my intelligence to answer such stupid inane questions. Ask me some real questions for things such as: Why don't you shop at this store anymore? What's wrong with this frozen dinner? Does this restaurant have good hot food and decent servers? Does this online company have good customer service if there is a problem.

  19. Hello everyone, this survey is to find out which kind of stress management app do people use to manage their stress. The result will only be use for my college project and I am very appreciate if you can spend time to complete this survey. Thanks in advance!! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSflEi-56iR3fDvn_IzmfAy492DpYRLpfrkvEnoPl9m8_O9l8w/viewform

  20. I can relate to everything you're saying! I absolutely hate hate hate Sample Cube, Cint, Samplicio and their ilk. It is just appalling the way these routers dink people around. I too have been rapidly routed, sometimes 5-6 times, through a bunch of places, answering the same demographic questions over and over, precious time being wasted. I also find the absolute lack of customer service of these survey routers pathetic. There doesn't seem to be any recourse to complain either. Most of these idiots probably pay the BBB, which is a joke, so that they don't do anything when people complain. There is a place called ESOMAR, but I'm not sure what they can do, if anything. I'm retired now, but for 22 years I worked as an administrative assistant, and the sad lack of customer service these survey companies display would have gotten me fired quickly. I do not understand why they are allowed to treat survey takers like this. So you probably have many who agree with you. I wish these damn routers would just all go out of business. They are less than useless in my book.
