  1. Mainly it's been me beetching and moaning about points not received after taking a full survey, crappy customer service, rewards and things of that nature. There have been times I have mentioned the site and more or less said I'm not the only one ticked off about this, if you don't believe me, check out Survey Police, we are legion. Lo and behold it's worked sometimes, I get my way. So maybe we have some pull. I'll remember to copy and post one next time it occurs.

  2. You can always be replaced there is no loyalty when it comes to Survey Companies

  3. I agree, most of the survey companies don't really care about respondents. When it comes to consumer studies, respondents are expendable. It sounds harsh, but this is the reality. So companies don't really have a reason to care about respondents, as long as there's a good enough supply of them. Also, having a decent respondent support department costs a pretty penny. Why should they spend all this money if they don't have to? What's more, recently more and more companies have been automating their processes in an attempt to minimize costs and be more competitive. The end clients don't want to pay as much for survey data and this is what survey companies have to do if they want to survive. What used to be done by people is now just an API running on a server somewhere. Or a bot that's supposed to provide support to respondents. I'm usually an optimistic person, but in this case I don't think that things will improve for respondents.

  4. Like mentioned, I doubt they are concerned. I often see Tweets from an organisation ‘Survey Compare’ which refers to the usual (cint etc). I reply saying check out Survey Police which hopefully might stop people using the worst ones

  6. I used to get points from a couple of the survey companies on my birthday. That has been a few years back and I am sure I am no longer with them at this point. But it was nice to be recognized by them.

  7. I'm with Bal. I don't think they care either. Scammers, corrupt companies, many of them.

  8. Some of these companies are so corrupt that I honestly don't think they care. The ones that scam people know what they are doing, so I think they expect bad reviews. I'm interested in some of the replies you have got from some of the survey companies, if you don't mind letting us know?

  9. This may have been asked somewhere before, but what do you think survey sites feel about Survey Police? Is it helpful, a threat, an annoyance or what? I've mentioned it a few times in e-mails I've sent to survey sites, and it's odd the reactions I get sometimes.

  10. I think that some sites do care quite a bit. An example of this is Point Club. If you scroll through the pages of reviews of them, somebody from their site responds to roughly half of the comments. So what people say here is clearly getting their attention, as they scan the reviews at least a few times a week. We do matter a little (Yay!). They don't seem to respond to these forum comments very much, though. There are other sites that monitor our reviews, like Paid Viewpoint, although that site does it more casually (usually thank you's for positive comments).

  12. Hmm. Maybe they are disabling the ability to run Flash on mobile. Not surprising. Flash will officially be dead on Dec. 31, 2020. Hopefully survey creators will be ready and switch to something else by then.

  13. BTW: I had a good friend in the 90's who loved rush. Big fan. I guess my favorite is Tom Sawyer.

  15. I feel stupid for asking this, but I thought I would go ahead and just do it. Is Reward Link the same as a Tango Card? I have one site that never has anything but Reward Link offers and I have never cashed out for that before. Thanks for your help! Remember, I'm old! LOL!

  17. According to their FAQ, the way you redeem is pretty much exactly like a Tango Card: How Do I Spend My Reward Link? It's Easy! Follow these steps: Click your Reward Link you'll be taken to a page with reward options. Choose an e-gift card or other reward option Select the value of the card (you cannot choose more than your remaining balance). Select "Add to Cart". If you have remaining balance and would like to choose another option, repeat Steps 2-4. Once you have selected all the e-gift cards you want, click "Checkout". Enter your name and your email address and check the box acknowledging the terms. Click "Complete My Order". Your e-gift card(s) will arrive in your email inbox. Hope that helps.

  18. No idea but to remark that no question is stupid. You always seem to answer questions people ask and I always read your answers and questions.

  19. So last night I had been trying to get a survey completed on Swagbucks. I had been on their site for over an hour. We have Apple TV and I was watching that the whole time. We were watching Sling. A commercial came up (they still have commercials) and it was for SWAGBUCKS! What?! I have NEVER seen that before. But there it was. The hubs noticed it and asked me if that was one of my companies and said yes. We just looked at each other because I had just told him that I wasn't getting any surveys completed. He told me to be careful because someone was listening in. I think he might be right.
