Tense

I have noticed that in the past few months that I am being asked to put in quite a bit more time for a few points here and there. I just looked at some on a site and they wanted 20 minutes for 17 points, so 20 minutes for 17 cents. I did one to see, and low and behold, it was going to take 20 minutes, so I x'd out of it. Are the survey companies getting cheaper? I think so. I will do a Prolific for .20 but they only want me for 2 minutes. Those add up quickly because I usually am not dq'd from them. But the other sites. Oh my!

Yep, if you have an opinion other than what they are looking for they disqualify you but not after a few more questions detailing your life.

I agree they want more from you for less money or points I have closed some also

About time they released that video. Last fall, there was a series on the History channel about this. They delved into all the sightings from Navy aircraft carriers and fighter jets. The Navy kind of swept it under the rug. There’s definitely something out there. I’m fascinated by UFO’s, The Bermuda Triangle and that kind of stuff. Who knows?

Yeah, I think all of this is definitely getting to people. Whenever I feel crappy, I try to go for a walk, even if it’s just around the block, just to get out of the house for awhile and get some fresh air. Whenever I have something to mail, I also walk to a mailbox. About the only place I go where there’s people is the grocery store, during early morning senior hours. But that’s starting to get pretty crowded too. I think, I’ll try going later at night a couple of hours before the store closes. The last time I did that, I practically had the store to myself. And people were stocking like crazy, so it wasn’t like the shelves were too picked over. I even found toilet paper. My hubby is now permanently in the nursing home, and has been approved for Medicaid to pay for it. I have bad days where I feel really guilty, but I really had no choice. I try to distract myself when I’m feeling like that. As far as surveys go, I’m actually getting more surveys from some sites, and some sites getting less. I spend less time doing surveys now. I do more reading, and binge watching new TV series that I discovered and like. I just got done with The Morning Show on Apple TV+, and The Good Fight on CBS All Access. I play more hidden object online games too. It helps pass the time. I just try my best to be grateful and thankful for what I have. Life is precious. So I hope all of us can find the time to unwind when the stress level is up there. Easier said than done. Some day, there will come a time when restaurants and stuff are open. I try not to think of how long that may take. It will happen when it does. There isn’t a lot I have any control over. I do have control of my attitude, and how I react to things. I’m trying to work on that while all this goes on. Thanks for “listening”. We are all in this together.

Agree. I suspect companies pay JD Power for favorable results so the companies can use these high ratings in their advertising. And if what you answer isn't what the companies have paid for, you get the uncompensated boot. I've said this before...even though I do surveys, always being attentive and answering honestly, I pay no attention to the results as they're often wholly unreliable for so many reasons.

One opinion, aka dynata, are equivalent to google in terms of trustworthyness. They like to purchase other survey companies (the competition) and then run them into the ground. It is all over the internet, not just here on this forum.

I am counting on the aliens to come and save us from the virus. Or, they might come, cut off our lips and suck us dry of blood. You know, like the cattle mutilations. Just thinking out loud here. Carry on.

I got rid of them a few years back. I didn't understand the quality score thing. I don't think I ever resolved any issue that I emailed them about. I also dumped others around the same time.

I swear there have been these UFO's for hundreds of years. They have been represented in ancient drawings and in the histories. Wowsa!!

I have gotten that message about speeding through the surveys,which I never do. I have never gotten any response when I complain so I gave up. Today I noticed my point lever dropped considerably. I looked at my surveys and three 250 point surveys had REJECTED net to them. I have no idea why they were rejected and WHY ONLY 250 point surveys? I figure that way I can't cash out as fast. I REALLY am disgusted with this site, gets worse and worse day by day.. SIGH

Think that's become par for the course right now for many sites, but yeah, get what you are saying. As the old saying goes, "the check is in the mail".

While I can understand that to some extent, one can't expect people just to lock themselves away. They need access to goods, care and whatever else. Sure, it can be delivered, but how it that much different? The people delivering have had contact with who knows how many people or products? I've said it elsewhere, but I think society will collapse quicker from isolation than any virus. Thus far where I am, I can get out when needed, but play it cautious. I have family in Michigan, where the governor has shut down restaurants, gyms, theaters, and apparently has some feud with Trump where he's banning medical supplies. Anyway, I babble, sorry.

I once was invited to participate in an online movie community by a company that paid its ceo 63 million dollars but wanted to pay its panelists by having a raffle for a chance to win. No thanks.

As for the so called 'lounge', I've said it before, and I will say it again, is all anyone can do post one word replies in an endless pointless chain? So hasta la vista folks, nothing here, might check back some day, but in the meantime, there are other sites with people who give a sh*t.
