  1. I threatened one site with taking them to small claims court. I got my money! Threaten them with that. Might work.

  2. What site was that on? Had one do that on One Opinion and contacted them via their Facebook page with the time and date. They checked , saw the amount of time spent , and awarded points.

  3. J.D. Powers will screw you. Just a couple of days ago I took one of their surveys, went through the whole thing (25 minutes) and was told at the end of the survey that I didn't qualify, probably one of their stupid, many trap questions got me. No more, I'm done with JD Powers, Xing out from now on when I see one

  4. So perhaps it’s the fact that I’ve had a jumbo margarita with lunch earlier today and I have some tequila in me that I’m asking this, but I’ve actually been pondering this for a few days now. I like to read the latest reviews on the dashboard for all the survey sites. Something I’ve seen again and again is people who have taken $50+ or even over $100 worth of surveys and they suddenly get dumped by the survey site for the same generic BS “not being honest, rushing through surveys, having more than one account” etc etc etc. And that’s it. No recourse. No amount of complaining/contacting the BBB/state’s attorney’s office/whatever is gonna get you that hard earned money back. I think it’s beyond unacceptable, total BS that these companies get away with this. I wonder if it’s even feasible/realistic to find a way to take these survey sites to small claims court. Probably not, but I wish it were. My heart aches when I read some of these stories from people who were screwed. With small claims court, if they find in your favor, not only do you win your settlement, but usually the offending party has to pay court costs and that in addition for paying you the money you’re owed. I’d love to see someone like Judge Judy ream some of these companies a new one. Someone needs to hold these companies accountable for fraud and stealing. Wondering if anyone has ever tried to take a survey site to small claims court.

  5. Fortunately I’ve been okay. Usually, the minute it reaches the threshold, I immediately cash out. I don’t sit on it at all. I pretty much expect to get screwed, and I won’t give them a chance to pull that crap on me and be out all that money.

  6. Contact the focus group and ask what the details are. Just explain the situation.

  7. Try both contacting them using the support link on their site as well as sending a message from their Facebook page using the ""message" button.

  8. Jberri12 - I don't think they liked some of the answers I gave them on some political surveys I received about BLM, the riots and the Covid-19 situation. This happened to me on another panel where they asked me watch a new sitcom that was coming on TV. It was awful. I told them so. I didn't get the full points. I emailed the survey panel and they gave me part of the points. I was still furious. That same sitcom bombed in the ratings and was cancelled. Did I get an apology that it indeed WAS a sucky TV show? Oh No. I went into my ER accounts and everything is still there. I even received an additional $28 in my account! So they obviously didn't get rid of my account, I just can't redeem rewards or take surveys. This is really weird. So I emailed them and said I do not want this CARLOS BOT to respond to me again. Have an actual human write to me. I think they outsource their CSR overseas. Carlos could be a name from the Phillipines. Show me proof I did something wrong. I'm not holding out any hope. These companies are owned by greedy bankers who only care about the bottom line. They don't have a bottom line if smart people don't answer their questions. It reminds me of a sadistic pet owner throwing scraps to hungry dogs and delighting in it.

Thank You so much. I think the worse part was after her fall that was it. Hospital sent her back home and she was in so much pain and couldn't tell us where. Had hospice came on that Friday and Sunday she took her last painful breath. If she had not fallen she would maybe lived a year longer she was only 94. and that early for her women side of the family. Her Grandmother lived to 104 and had 16 children and her mom my Nana was 102, (she also was called home in my home)

  10. I keep getting duplicate surveys with JD Power and it's always on the President, voting, and coronavirus. I just x out of them. I think they are spies for the government in my opinion.

  12. Do you do anything to verify these are actually student surveys, or just assume no one else is posting here? Some of them make no mention of student involvement.
